Why are the alliance twinking 50-59 bracket?

Oh no! A bracket where the Alliance actually doesn’t get rekt every game! This outrage should be addressed immediately!

I wouldn’t mind if it was on equal level/gear. But the alliance HAVE to twink in order to win on that bracket, so yes, it is lame

Yeah, sure.

Tbh I feel the same, it is a bit boring to twink, I made a 19 twink rogue (mainly because I had one in vanilla and wanted to do it again) I’ve had him about a month now and I rarely play him. The effort getting all the gear and enchants was more fun! :joy:

As for the higher twinking brackets they are probably more fun as you have more things to use, I just cba to make another one to try them brackets incase I get bored and it becomes a waste of effort :joy:

Because they cant win 60

Horde have to twink lvl 40-49 in order to win too . How selfish can that comment be ?

Can you elaborate more often please ? Except for av , I tend to win wsg and ab more often as a solo against pugs more often . Thats a false belief .

Isnt that what horde does from every bracket all the way to 49?

Indeed its pathetic.

Because alliance are doing the same at 50-59 yes?

I notice the same thing. At first I thought I was in a bad team because we kept losing and losing. But then I notice the glowing weapon enchants and high ranks the Alliance player got. Hopefully things will change. I liked to play some battlegrounds while leveling to get to know my class in a PvP environment while you don’t have to deal with epic loaded players

You can still learn your class in pvp while losing and like others have said horde players do the same across all brackets so maybe start scrutinizing your own faction first before going off on Alliance players twinking like a bunch of hypocrites.

That is not true. I’ve been playing a lot of pvp from lvl 19 till this lvl. On the lower brackets I saw pretty much equal geared players all the time, the thing is that the alliance were just VERY bad in the bgs. Somehow they only improved just a little bit on the 50-59 with skill, but MOSTLY because of the gear advantage.

Ive seen enough twinks on both sides from 19-49, just that alliance are the only ones at 50-59

Horde has its share of twinks in the 50-59 bracket.

Never met one. Ive played many games. 0 serious rankers unlike alliance who are easily rank 8+

I haven’t seen a single one.

I’ve played four games of Warsong Gulch and all were like OP stated. Horde players were mostly 50-56 and around rank 1-4 (including myself) with a few 57+. The Alliance on the other hand were mostly 57+ and above rank 5. I even encountered a rank 10. Some with weapon enchants and Engineering diving helmet who could blown up my hp in a sec. The Horde lost 3 games. We won the last one because the Ally were just fooling around with us and didn’t pay attention to the objectives. For me 50-59 PvP is just a waste of time as a Hordie.

You clearly have only twinked in the 19 bracket. You don’t 1 shot people at 49 or 59 (unless your an elemental shaman) all classes have defensive cooldowns at this point and the dungeon gear you can get in these brackets is actually quite good, you don’t need to be fully twinked to compete you just need semi decent gear which you can get cheap off AH or by doing dungeons.

I started leveling an alt a few months back and was planning to get him to 60 ASAP but I played a few games in WSG at 45 against twinks and didn’t do too badly even when I was out geared. I decided to stick around and had a pretty good win ratio as Alliance and even managed to get WSG exalted quite fast but recently a lot of Alliance twinks have dispeared and horde have started to pre made and queue sync more which is a shame as I enjoyed the pug vs pug games as they were often quite even.

So yeah the power gap between a twink and non twink is less noticeable at 49 than it is at level 19/29. If you are joining a BG at level 40-46/50-56 then you are a hindrance on your team due to the resists and misses you’ll get but these are the people who are most vocal and abusive when they are losing even though they are the problem.

Why twink at 49/59?
-Easy rep grind for WSG/AB
-Easier time with ranking
-More fun than solo queing at 60 and getting rolled over by a pre made.
-There is a gear ceiling so everyone will stay the same power wise which won’t be the case at 60 when new gear is released with each content patch with some people not having the time to raid.
-More fun in general that 60 pvp.

I typed the following before i read your post:

They think that Kork is 50. All 50-59 twinks try to find and score a world first kill against the mighty Kork.

Ok you sold it to me it does actually sound quite good… I’ve only twinked the 19 and 29 brackets yes you are right.

As someone who spent three weeks in the bracket, playing 10+ hours a day, I can tell you that there are several twinks on the Horde side in this bracket. One of them is an elemental shaman named after a famous anime series (with the main character being bald), and he often has two twink friends running with them. While Horde doesn’t have as many twinks as Alliance, they do have them.

I don’t think twinking is that impactful in the 59 bracket, as long as you’re joining at level 58/59 you stand a good chance.

I’d say a bunch of solo queueing 50-59’s, even if twinked, will produce a better game than premade v pug at 60.

A lot of the guys doing this are probably just alts, they’re raiding on their main and aren’t that bothered about getting 60.

Then I must have been very unlucky. Ive spent many hours on this bracket aswell, and only seeing high ranked/good geared players on the alliance side. Especially packed with healers (paladins) which are a pain to counter when geared.
