Why are the vast majority of alliance players utter scumbags?

I think every horde main knows what i’m talking about but to clarify i’m talking about all the alliance players that go to low level zones and make it impossible to quest, constantly killing low level players or quest givers. In BFA I tend to see alliance players taking over camps and killing anybody that is misfortunate enough to land there. My question to you alliance players is, Why are you trying so hard to suck the fun out of the game for Horde players? I don’t attack low level players, hell I don’t attack other players unless they either attack me or are ganging up on a fellow horde player because I know its not fun to die to some prick that is max level when your know where near that or being mobbed to death. And don’t say turn off warmode, how is it fair that we have to turn off a valuable buff because a vast majority of the enemy player base are actively trying to ruin the game for the otherside?

It happens on both sides. Just do a search for the word warmode on the forums and you will see plenty of both alliance and horde complaining about this issue.

However, when you turn warmode on you agree to play in PvP that includes ganking. Live with it or switch it off. The 10% or 30% isn’t a freebie buff it’s compensation for the extra risk of being PvP enabled.

I never said the horde didn’t do it, its sheer amount of alliance players doing that’s the issue. I’ve seen some other posts talking about a similar issue talking about “Zone disruption” the alliance are doing. What i’m trying to say is that acting scummy seems to be the rule with the Alliance not the exception.

Both sides do this. It’s not new. It’s a practice as old as PvP servers themselves. The luxury now is you can actually turn it off.

Oh cry me a bloody river. My arms warrior could sing you a song about how fun and engaging world PvP is when you’re outnumbered 3 to 1 all the time and have to sit down and eat if you actually somehow manage to get a fair fight and win.

PvP in MMOs has always been full of people trying to f*ck with others and WoW is no different. The only difference is that, unlike in pure PvP based games, you have the option to turn this off if you can’t be arsed to deal with it.

The buff is there only to compensate for time lost doing PvP anyway, so what is even your point here?

How about they just remove all PvP from the game.

NPC’s can simulate a war between the Horde and the Alliance. I’ve done without PvP for ages and i still get the war vibe loud and clear from NPC’s and PvE quests.

That would end a lot of problems. No more whining and moaning about:

  • balance
  • gear
  • ‘the state of PvP’
  • ganking lowbies
  • ganking questgivers
  • ganking in general
  • mobbing
  • racial abilities.
  • warmode
  • arena
  • etc…

Think of all the peace and quiet… and all the time the devs can put into PvE. Its brilliant.

Have you seen the amount of hordes round Elwynn and goldshire? There quite frequent looking for low level players and raiding the lions pride inn over on argent Dawn
