Why are Tuskarr so likable?!

I do not know exactly why but I love these walrus-people.

They are not the first incidence of a species of peaceful simple people who live off the land in WoW, but somehow they are just… perfect.

Has anyone managed to nail down what makes the Turskarr feel so perfect?
Is the the mustache?

As somebody who had soup for lunch today and soup for tea I have no idea why they are so likeable…

They are not
I don’t have anything against nonhuman species, more so, WoW need more of them, hope one they a Loxodon-like race will grace the Game, or tall Kitsune like foxes, but these walrus-people are bland and nothing likeable in them for me
But people like Murlocs too so we are different
:person_shrugging:

Because they are the DUDEs.

I never really understood it either. People who played Wrath are head over heels about them, and I always thought it was just about it “being cool to like them”. :joy:

But now that I am actually experiencing them first hand in DF, I can see what it is people like about them. :slightly_smiling_face: They are down to earth and cozy, and they symbolise a time where we were just “everyday adventurer’s”.

I’m not saying I’m a fanboy of them like so many others are, but I definitely see the appeal now. And if they became a allied race, I’d love to make one. :slightly_smiling_face:

Seem to have a great positive attitude about them.
Without spoiling anything, their celebration of life when someone dies gave me a big smile.
The children are absolutely adorable as well.

Scraps the Gnoll kid (or the murderous gnoll kids in the dungeon) are adorable
Its was nice to see the Gnoll and the tuskar kids get along
It was a bit like the class of kids in the Waking shore
DF have so many cool and adorable stories, like Taivan the goodest boy’s

I’m loving the Tuskarr in this expac.
The storylines and quests for them have been structured so well, the way they build up their culture and way of life. Even trading with them requires some kind of bartering with items, instead of just gold. Big thumbs up with the effort put in to them for Blizz.

They make free soup !

If you think they’re likeable there’s a good chance you haven’t grinded the Kalu’ak to exalted.

They’re not tortollans.

As a gnoll I support the statement they are likeable. Delicious even.

I’d like to try some tuskarr for my dukat diet.
Tuskarr Tatare Logh’tar Ogar!

They’re just hearty folk who enjoy good food, family and friends. They welcome you with open arms, have cozy stuff, enjoy telling stories, have cute pets…

Its SUCH a nice change! Compared to the centaur whom I despise with their horrible ideas like… save the poor drowning baby foals! …so they can grow up and we can eat them :smiling_imp:

because theyre theyre goofy and apolitical

Why is that evil? That’s human nature. Humans are good, not evil  Stop listening to green ideological propaganda with meat=bad

I eat meat. I don’t like that I have to but I eat it.

I just don’t like their attitude, I prefer the Night Elf and Tauren attitude to it. Centaur come across as arrogant and uncaring.

This is a bad mentality. Eating meat is not immoral. Politcians want you to feel guilty for the most basic human nature things to push their neo-communistic green ideologies. Nothing good has come out of a guilt-driven society. Next, they tell you to not fart to reduce co2 emissions. Craziness

They are a race that has seen it all in the past. From the birth of the Lich King to the next X moments of Azeroth. They have their own culture and customs. They have cool stories. The very story of Arthas ascending to the ice throne starts with one of them telling the story.
