I get it, we are tied to the august celestials but why are we summoning and not just harnessing their power to enhance our unarmed strikes?
Why can’t invoke Xuen give our punch and kicks lightning or wind strikes. Like tornados.
Chi Ji could give us fire strikes etc
We could’ve had a way of the elements style spec.
Shadow pan could’ve been a sort of stealthy ninja samurai class that uses weapons.
Or a spec that uses our staves to strike.
When I think monk I don’t think summons!
Even a ranged chi strike would make more sense.
Why aren’t we getting combos. Like two tiger palms and a black out kick gives you a thunder strike, a black out kick and whirling dragon punch gives you an upper cut.
