Do you play your own game? do you actually look at any data? Weeks of data and a FDK buff is what you come up with (amongst other bad balancing).
How on earth can ANY of the data you have show that FDK needed a buff. In what world of playing season 1 of this game has anything even remotely shown that. Mage? What data do you have that shows Warrior needs ANOTHER (I believe the 4th?) nerf. We literally get gapped by Pala’s / FDK etc. who are lower in Ilvl than us. There are other examples of bad balancing here too but a few massively obvious ones above.
Happy Anniversary, another great experience of your horrendous balancing that genuinely just ruins the game experience for many. How on earth after 20 years of developing this game can you still get it so so wrong consistently.
You bring up “numbers and stats” in your argument and yet those exact numbers and stats speak against a nerf for both fury and arms in both M+ and Raids.
Blizzard has already proven they don’t know what they are doing or lost track of their balancing path when they first announced the Hpala nerf a little bit ago only to revert it after the backlash they received for it.
They do it on purpose for the rerolls and token purchases for boosts and crafting of new gear and materials. They leave it just long enough for the fotm rerollers to invest and not be burned from doing it again. Then they nerf them and it moves to a different class.
There is 1 fundamental thing you guys keep getting wrong.
Who said Blizzard ever intended to keep the game balanced? They keep their favourites at the top as long as they can without lash out, and once the complaints start raining in they intentionally buff some other spec to infinity for a season or two, then they go back to their favourites.
Yep this, I think it’s just a cheap tactic to try and keep people engaged and they have never dropped it from their game design philosophy. Few will out right quit, others get buffed and feel great about playing their OP class. It’s swings and round abouts.
Back and forward round and round we go.
Seems to work like a charm though.
Either that or they simply can’t count and this is all down to pure incompetence since vanilla?
I’d go with incompetence really. You could for example see which raid boss would get nerfed next and when because Ion his character was tracked by the community. This turned into a massive meme in the raiding community.
For class balance they go off based on statistics and thats about it. They only see those rather than understanding the as to why (like the fury nerf made absolutely zero sense. They already were meh outside of a single job in some encounters).
