Authenticator is a security mesure for your phone, you install it in the apple appstore or google play and everytime you log on to a new device you will need a one-time generated number password ( that changes every 30 secounds ) this is designed in case someone manages to hack your password, so they will also need your phone to log in, you only have to log in once each device you log into

Also the authenticator is a good thing. My account was hacked before I installed it and you don’t want to go through the nightmare of getting it fixed and restored.

You can play the game… just set up an authenticator. It’s no biggie really. Ive had an authenticator on my account since TBC

Because it is very useful for many things. Times have changed and smartphones are dirt cheap.
It’s your choice to stay behind the times, but if you make that choice, you have to accept you’ll be left behind.
Tbh even maximum security prisons have issues stopping the prisoners from having phones.

You don’t need a phone to use FA. Android Emulators exists for something. Just install one of this in your PC and you can use it
