Why best in slot ring is from boring questing

I actually love that. But wow stopped being a true mmorpg for a long time. Dont lie about the stones tho. Its a bit annoying to get em. And its another kind of borrowed power that takes a slot. People hated that.

i am getting sick of posts like this one , i pay a sub and mainly play open world stuff, i dont raid or mythic any more as i am just past caring at the antics you see when you pug anything these days , so to you i say this if you must have this ring and cant do your thing without it then get off your rear end and go get it , problem solved

Yeh, but this isn’t really an expansion long grind. I’ll give it to you. 2 hours Maximum to get all the keys for a weeks vault and get the BiS stones.

and lets face it, it’s not really a game changing upgrade.

And you can collect some cool transmog whilst you’re at it.

But WoW is and always will be an MMORPG.

Because the games developed for a entire audience so a compromise must exist?

Its a 30 minute quest change lol

You assume people do content becouse they enyoj that content. I have bad news for you players always pick path of least resistance no becouse they enyoj it but befouse its easyest way to obtain reward they are after.

So yes there is tons of players what do m+ even when they do not enyoj doing that content just becouse it rewards good gear. Same goes for everything els.

So if you introduce some nonsense currency to buy sutff regardless of conten. Players will force themself and do what will be easyest aka world content. So instance content will die and players will quit of boredom.

WoW hasnt been proper mmorpg for several years so no.

its still something that proves that they dont listen tho. Nobody wanted that.

Ofcourse it is still one.

Could it do more to be more of one? yes it could. Should it do more? Absolutely.

But it’s still an MMORPG, even if you don’t like that.

Is it a Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game?

I’m in a World with many other players online and taken on the Role of Mage in this Game.

That is the definition of MMORPG.

Are you. Becouse from my perspective world in DF is literaly ghost town and if i see other players they might also just be bots becouse there is 0 interaction with them. Guild chat dead, world chat dead, general chat dead, trade chat nonexistent.

Its funny becouse other players are actualy annoyance since they mostly just slow you down as they kill your rare before you can get to it. No WoW isnt mmorpg anymore. Its more of looter shooter type of game in fantasy setting and optional multiplayer.

and here I am in a group of 40 players doing world content.

I see an interact with players all the time. Especially thanks to the new Profession system which has forced me to talk to people, and I’m loving that aspect of the game. I have made so many new friends.

and I have yet to see these bots out in the world. I’ve no doubt they exist, just probably not as common as people like to make out.

You meam 40 man raid for world boss or event where game scraps players from entire eu region into single raid group? Gratz. Outside of that zones are completly empty.

No you dont. And professions are completly useless in DF. Players doesnt even use work orders since nothing is actualy worth crafting.

No, I’m in the War Creche farming for keys and transmog. Trading other players for items they need. you know interacting with people.

And this is where I know you haven’t indulged in the system.

Here is my Dragonflight so far:

The only reason why those 2 spikes around Jan’23 aren’t higher is because I traded in around 28-30 WoWTokens at the end of the “Session” on those evenings, so those Peaks were in reality alot higher. With a few more here and there where you see dips from time to time afterwards.

Although I would have loved that to continue through the whole expansion. The line that carry’s on afterwards is steadily going up, all the time I was investing profits into levelling other professions.

This is just a record of my Tailoring since I installed the CraftRecieptBook Addon about 6 weeks ago.

Note: That is just one of my Professions.

I have taken a little break from pushing my crafts over the past 2-3 weeks. However, it hasn’t stopped me making about 500k over the past week from crafting for other people.

So, Yes I do interact with players all the time and players do use the crafting order system.

It proves that Blizzard are focused on making a good overall game, rather than just pandering to smaller communities.

As I said, it’s not a Expansion wide system. The season is over. you can choose if you want to do it or not.

It’s the players that decide what they enjoy doing, not the developers of a game. I agree with you that players will use the way of least resistance but they will always do that and it wont change nor can you prevent it from happening.
If you take this statement as an arguement against every suggestion out there then you will never find a system that could potentially work.
Saying No to everything or finding reasons why things won’t work is always the easiest thing to do however it’s not constructive and doesn’t help generally speaking. Of course you need to get the pros and cons and keep an eye on the overall picture.

you are the smaller community actually. You guys who like the modern “convenient” direction wow took.

People dont realize yet that the majority of players preffer wow how it used to be (prefferable with a modern touch tho). That’s why they left and are still leaving. That’s why they are still playing classic. That’s why wow is in continuously subscribtion downfall.

You guys are the minority. Probably ppl playing just dragonflight are around just 1 milion at max atm.

But that’s what I like.

But Catchup items have been in the game since TBC.

But you seem to be the person who doesn’t want to participate in a bit of world content.

Also, Id like you to find a source for that claim.

Since TBC they started to get in the wrong direction, but with very small steps tho. But after cataclysm, their steps become very big. That’s why people love classic wow the most. And the 2 most beloved expansions are tbc and wrath.

Source is in numbers. Wow used to have over 10 milion players. And now it got what? 2 milions at the most? And that’s considering wrath classic and classic era servers. There’s a reason people still chose to play the ultra mega old vanila, instead of dragonflight.

I mean, I stopped Cata/Mop time. I just found the game relied too much on BiS builds and all that rubbish. The way Vanilla and TBC worked was much more enjoyable… at the time.

Now, I think the Seasonal way the came works better suits the gamers of today (and pockets of the Shareholders).

I definitely agree with you that certain QOL of features have spoilt the game. But I don’t really think putting a small catch up item at the end of a Season is really ruining anyones fun.

I think that’s more due to the games age, and other options out there more than anything else.

Sure, the more options available the better. For me, I played Classic for a while, but I still quite enjoy Retail. I like “new” rather than stuff I’ve done before.

simply that is not what should be … simply better player should be able to get bet gear … even i dont need to have top gear … and if u really want strong gear that u can just farm gold and pay with gold for boost :stuck_out_tongue:
