why best in slot ring is from boring questing which is not even interesting to play and it is waste of time … simply i want to play m+ and raid im not here to questing that is boring and farming on questing just to get must to have item for m+ and raid is fun at all
You mean the Onyx Annulet?
The ring you find in 5 minutes, and the stones drop like rain in a short while of messing around in Zskera vault? That ring?
No offense, but if you’re willing to spend hours raiding and running mythic+, i’m sure you can find one hour to get that ring and farm up the stones you want for it.
If any one thing is truly killing the game, it’s PvP/raid/Mythic+ fans whining every time they feel they have to do anything open-world.
Maybe an MMORPG isn’t for you. Ever consider that?
Still the content is optional, you don’t need to have it. But if you want it, 5mins out of your game time getting the ring isn’t worth the 6 minutes you spent writing your post moaning about.
Because the idea is for everyone to be able to get the ring in a relatively easy manner. That means questing.
well or just that easy things are giving low power gear and hard things giving high power gear … and not just grinding easy thing whole day
Its catch up gear for end of season.
Sorry but this post is useless, respectively you are trying to find a problem when there is none in what you are saying… you are playing WoW, which is MMORPG and this genre is not just about m+/raiding, its also about doing some lore quests, so your point that this ring should drop only in m+/raids is just pointless - not gonna even mention the fact that obtaining this ring is question of like 5-10 mins…
Aye which has led to lest exciting and attention grabbing content. I mean you can basically do the forbidden reach in one day and be done with it. I have not been back since I got the ring and the stones. CBB to farm “rares” mindlessly for nothing interesting other than perhaps more loot drops that may or may not be good for one of my alts. No thanks I will do that weekly if there is something new to do every week.
I so disagree, at last there is a piece to go for that is NOT behind a m+ or raid. Stuff I go without, so you can always choose to do likewise
It’s interesting to observe each side whenever one side gets new content while the rest is being forced into doing that content.
There are many different groups / minorities in WoW that all like to do different kind of content. The inital quest line is certainly okay from a story point of view. But instead of having everything that is relevant to the ring on the new island, i’d much rather prefer running dungeons, not mythic + specifically, to do the necessary farming.
I can see that raiders would much rather do raid content and get their ring done that way instead of activities on that island.
On the other side of things i agree with the people that don’t like mythic + and raiding but they want to get better gear as well. Since gear progression is really a major factor in WoW, everyone should be able to obtain the same power level. High risk, high reward is a viable option but not in a game which has a big focus on gear.
Initially i said “forced” because i don’t believe that the ring is really meant to be a catch up ring anymore. Many class guides already recommend the ring for certain speccs and classes and players tend to get the best possible gear.
I’m almost done with reach myself, on three characters, two have 4/4 tier (From the tokens, upgrade, and catalyst), the last has 3/4 (Stupid mail chestpiece token…), and i have enough vault keys stockpiled to go open all doors in the vault on my 4th character once it resets tomorrow.
Reach is fun but rather shallow, i’ll be back to working on my alts’ renowns soon.
This what I was saying is missing from the expansion. Does not necessarily have to be a legendary but think back to the MoP Cloak quest and Wrathion. Each patch we got some things to do and they were not quick that you would finish it all in one day. Rather it should have been spread out over various areas and parts of the game. Fetch from the dungeon, go into PvP (can already hear the screams) etc .
TBH I actually initially thought the ring would end up turning into a legendary by the final season. I guess not.
still should not be stronger than it is in m+ and raid … simply harder thing should give you better reward
I don’t think you should force people to do certain activities but make the needed currencies available for each major in game activity. That way everyone can do the activities they enjoy the most while engaging with the newly implemented content.
Grinding or farming is only fun when you enjoy the activity. For example players that enjoy running dungeons, much rather grind / farm the currencies there, just like players that enjoy doing world quests, would rather do the farming that way. The same obviously goes for PvP players and raiders.
If we did a count on how many times you grinded shadowmoon burial grounds vs the others, what would the ratio be? 99:1?
Yeah, one might think there was a simple solution… like giving the exact same currency for all kinds of content (just different amounts) that can all be used to buy the very same items at a vendor. Huh, but I guess that would be too hard to implement.
Acutally, no… harder content should get you the same faster. We’d have a lot less troubles if everybody was able to get the same rewards just in their own time.
It wouldn’t be hard to implement but it would certainly require some tweaking / balancing.
Raids can only be done once per week while dungeons, pvp and other activities can be repeated all day / every day.
Finding the correct / reasonable ratio is actually the difficult part while also considering the time investment. A cap would simplify things but not solve the issue.
MMORPG? This game is not a mmorpg anymore. Dont call it that. You confuse me.
btw, 6 minutes getting it and 321414213 more hours farming the right stones and upgrading it to 424. + around 5k gold
Ofcourse it is. You might not play it like an MMORPG, but that doesn’t stop it from being one. So don’t be surprised when you need to participate in the whole game, rather than your little subsection.
It took no time at all to get the right stones? And if you don’t get them the first time, just crush them and buy the ones you want from the Vendor. It took no time at all.
As I say, if you don’t like MMORPG’s, then don’t play them.
