Why Bfa was the total fallout

I come now here to make fans realise why BFA was the worst both in terms of the lore, world building, faction building and especially how it ruined the Horde.

Alright lets got.

It started as a premise to why faction war is needed again but it was sorted into something unrecognizable. Especially Blizzard using it as a very weak excuse to kill any Horde leader and other major characters who are not like Baine and don’t support the unfair peace with the alliance. And not only did they kill so many lore characters. They also cemented the meme that leaders like Jaina and Anduin have unbreakable plot armor and will never lose no matter how illogical it is.

Any way that was not the worst part.

It was the recruitment of the allied races and the fact that none of the Horde made any military relevance in the ongoing war so far. The alliance did infact come out on top here too since they didn’t just gain mega weapons like the Vindicaar, they also had a shiny new brand city for all their ARs even mecha gnomes and Void elves. At the same time the Vulpera and Mag’har are homelss. And once more none of the new allied race leaders we got have any special powers, magic or any other cool gimmick.

Mechagon is a treasure vault of technology we have never seen.

Shadowforge is yet another mountrain fortress with unlimited resources.

Boralus harbors the mightiest fleet in all of Azeroth.

Telogrus rift is a research field on the very strongest magic that even exists.

Vulpera? A handful of desert dwellers who just survived slavery.

Zandalari? Are nothing without their fleet. Or their king? And priests. and Rezan. God Blizzard really hates trolls it is not funny anymore.

Highmountain didn’t do anything in the whole war and I suspect Mayla to be a traitor.

Mag’har? Instead of an entire world on our side that could have skipped the scales we got refugees without any good use. The Draenei under Yrel might become a cosmic threat soon.

and the Nightborne got worfed by the darkiron dwarves.

All in all even years later we can see how Blizzard excludes the Horde form all the story and pushes alliance leaders in our faces the whole time.

the Horde died in BFA and everyone can see it.

Bfa could be way way way better, problem is that their idea about the content is very good.
but when they wanted to bring it into the game they destroyed it there.
basically wasted potential

One day you’ll get bored of posting the same thing over and over and over and over again.

At this point you’re paying a company money out of pure hate, get some help.

I wouldn’t be surprised if she sneaked information to the alliance on behalf of Baine to make the siege of the troll city easier.

I will never understand why people get so invested in the factions in this game.

My primary concern with this kind of—let’s call it analysis—is that it doesn’t account for the game world.

Resources aren’t and haven’t ever been seen to be directly translated in the way you’re suggesting above. In this example you’re trying to give exact trade-offs to a world where these kind of aspects seldom matter. And arguably shouldn’t—it’s a fairy tale. It’s a story that includes and employs magic haphazardly, because it doesn’t matter.

[To clarify, it mostly doesn’t matter to the writers in the setting they’ve crafted. They don’t stress these details. That we as players sometimes would like to have more clearly defined rules etc is something else entirely.]

Highmountain wasn’t as involved as the other races because the other races took priority for development time and the writers. There’s most likely nothing more to it.

Whichever side is strongest is whichever side the writing team decides is strongest.

Because one of them is objectivley treated worse by the story by a large margin.

Which one? You mean Alliance right?

:fire: :evergreen_tree: :fire:

the Horde. BFa took everything from us. And we never recovered. Eevrything after that was nothing but pure team blue fanservice.

You got Bel’ameth and Tyrande talks about recovering Teldrassil soon. Meanwhile the trolls lost everything and Undercity is still plagued with blight. Look whos talking.

Posting on an alt would work Erevien if you didn’t post the same tiresome old crap.

Never look for reason in an Erevien “lore” post. The nearest fence would be able to give a better “post” about lore and be more accurate.

Erevien is only here to whine like a 3 year old that his favourite “side” in a fictional war in a fictional videogame doesn’t get all the sweeties like he thinks it should.

I apologise to three year olds everywhere, you grow up.

This is my new main actually.

BfA has some of the best zones in the entire game though.
There’s absolute peak design, aesthetic and atmosphere there.

BFA is ok me. Trolls storys make me LOVED.

But Heart of Azeroth really ruined for fun with alts

Horde wins = Alliance Cries
Alliance wins = Horde Cries

You’re just proving, you’re exactly the same kind of a human being as they’re - fighting tooth and nail for your POV.

Honestly I don’t see Horde in ruins not capable of any recovery - yes, Horde lost the 4th War (on paper). But Horde cities still stand, Horde people are still present not being held captives or slaves. What recovery are you speking about?

Undercity might recover in time, but what ‘everything’ did trolls lose? Dazar’alor still stands, right?

Why do you love Horde so much, what makes it so special to you?
Why do you hate Alliance so much, what makes it so terrible to you?

Ty for this info. Skipping these crying post saves me time.

Bfa was good. Lot stuff to do maybe too much time to time. Only thing i missed was that they could have put more that big war what was going on in kalimdor and eastern kindoms and let us fight. But overall it was good expansion
