Why Blitz not just solo queue RBG?

I get that Blitz solves the pre-made problem, but what was the thinking behind a new game mode rather than just solo queue RBG? Do you think it was the right call?

I don’t know why they didn’t leave the same rules as you have in normal Battlegrounds. Maybe to make it easier to control the map with only 8 players instead of 10, since the bases being protected from a cap means you don’t need to defend a base the whole game and can leave for a bit once the shield pops.

I prefer the normal BG rules to the Blitz ones.

Duo queue is the only reason of prevalence of boost selling in Blitz.

Tired of hearing ‘hey, X guy is booster, we lost, gg’ in most of waiting rooms before matches.

Scenario is always the same: a rank 1 player with loads of alts from every rating and mmr. And then they just duo/sync queue.

I also was planning to make a detailed topic with screenshots but mentioned here for now.

The more players the less of an personal impact you have on the game.

same question for the 2v and 3s arenas We should have the possibility of q in a group, and also do solo for 2s/3s and rbg

Some maps got better with blitz ruleset, some got worse. But I could never go back to slow mounts

Can easily do it as solo Q as well, not just Duo Q.

You may like queuing duo and getting easy wins but this is an undeniable fact.

They do boost with certain classes like evoker that provide advantage in flag carrying maps.

Only way without duo queue is giving account information to booster which is very uneffective way to do it if we consider 1 player can barely change something among 8 players.

Easy wins as duo? Hell no. It can be just as bad as solo.
