Why Blizzard doesn't care about PvP?

Is there any reason why they doesn’t give a damn about PvP? The fact that bfa is literally the worst xpac for any Player vs Player content is more than enough proof to think this way.

Fire mage, literally does nothing just sheep and gpyro.
Destro lock, stands in the middle of the arena and spams chaos bolts/fear. Armor nerf is feelable but that still doesn’t change the fact it will 2 shot you and can cc you…also they can cast a chaos bolt under 1.4 sec :man_shrugging:
Or Assa rogues, doing 20k dps without corruption and still the best cc in the game.
DK was near op with DS but after the nerf it’s just strong, still i think it would need a bit of redesign.
DH headbutts the keyboard and it will cleave down a healer + dps.

Destro Lock, DH, Fire mage are needs a complete revamp, so as Frost DK.

What’s the correlation between you thinking PvP is litterally the worst and Blizzard not caring about PvP?

It is possible to care about something and fail at it the same time.

Well we are basically constantly telling them what’s the core problem of PvP, while i understand it’s hard to balance this much class/spec’s, after all these years…this much of a mess in PvP isn’t justified. Even with new systems…They’re either buffing something to be OP or nerf something to the ground. We are keep telling them what would potentionally fix most of the issues of PvP but it’s being ignored for some reason. I don’t know how a company wich is this big…how can be so ignorant towards his community. We told em we hate titanforging, because it’s a random proc’s and it’s just doesn’t feel good. What did we get? a bigger RNG and more broken system instead. if they can create bigger and more broken random procc’s than Titanforging and random slot’s then there’s a problem…not a small problem. But to be honest, the problem isn’t even failing, it’s that they’re keep ignoring the feedback until it’s almost became unplayable. They ignored the whole freakin BFA BETA feedback and it ruined the first season of whole BFA. Nobody was happy with azerite armors and stuff.

IMO PvP was always a boring, unfair and unplayable trash. The only MMORPG where I had fun in PvP was SWTOR.

I think WoW PvP was probably one of my best pvp experience in my entire life. Both MoP and WotLK was a very good design imo.

Frogdogs or rotworms?
Thats the important question.

That’s called survivorship bias, both expansions were very unbalanced. In WotLK the DK completely dominated, and in MoP they had to buff resillience several times (up to 80% baseline if i remember right) because our dps was insane, every expansion had dumb OP specs but you only remember the good things.

Those issues are class design problems, meaning that the spec would have to be reworked in order to properly fix it. The classes you mentioned have been dominating (or just being strong in general) through BfA. The problem is that Blizzard doesn’t like reworking specs mid expansions.

I didn’t said it didn’t have any OP classes or balance issues. But there where way more depth almost in every class, with way better design.

Every expansion had underdogs and overpowered specs.

This is just that.

This has been said in WotLK and MoP aswell. I remember a video of someone who made a macro of all DK attacks and was winning arenas spamming that one macro.

Let’s be honest now, class depth started going downhill after mop. Everybody had everything.

it’s not that blizzard doesn’t care about PVP they just don’t care at all.
as long as they get money they think job well done.
they live in this magic bubble.
but yes pvp is bad

Only saving grace of SWTOR pvp was hutt ball everything else was just like wow only worse.

Wotlk and mop pvp were not perfect but at least both expansions had pvp that was actually fun to play.
