why ? Earthen has just been discovered, many of them act like robots and can be Paladins but gnomes, one of the OG races still can’t. Give us blizzard, not be racist.
Because gnomes suck
Probably because its not a priority for them to add new class combos. Since Paladins get their own mounts, they will have to make specific skins for each race and since both DI and Earthen were already planned they got the priority.
Dont say that, we are allies
Because Gnomes suck
A Gnome with the Light?
“Hey guys, we got a Gnome pally healer”
“Where? I see him on the raid frame but can’t see him to target him…”
“no he’s here.”
“WHERE!!??”
“Right here! I got him in my fingers! Ta-da!”
Well they can be priests.
Gnome are progenie of hell
but no one likes priests, I wanna wield THE LIGHT
Because Gnomes suck
you need to be this tall to reach the light.
|- Light
|
| - Earthren
|
|- Gnome
|- Ground
- Play gnome war
- Have priest friend use wings on you
- Kinda like gnome paladin!
This has “we have paladin at home” energy.
If they give more races the pala class and the human/belf class mount still look like 20 years ago, I’m gonna be annoyed.
Better than nothing
Defending small print of corporations who could of EASILY done better… very odd. They want to hand out unobtainable mounts because it’s cool, end of, that’s the psychology behind it. Which is deadly ironic and an insult to former customers.
“just pixels”? Why do we all play this game? Well, if you do, you’ll want to look at its world building, its in-game history, in-game community, people recount memory of mounts from years ago, if even for a second, it’s part of history, and that is enough. It’s not much, but it’s better than watching mounts handed out for free as that defiles the original intent of the mount (to reward those who recruited a friend into the game) or the customers who bought mounts, a second of witnessing corporate greed instead. What’s bad, is when you could of easily done otherwise but instead want to throw your old customers under the bus just to impress people with unobtainables.
It’s obvious; it’s much nicer, to see a company give a mount reward, and when they end their project, and think “we’ll keep it exclusive, it’s a nice gesture and in-game memory for those who bought into our scheme of that time, we’ve got hundreds of millions to create another mount for a new project.”. Oh no… they don’t do that. They hand it out to everyone down the line, because unobtainable mounts from the past are cool… and don’t forget these are the mounts people earned through buying into their schemes, or bought! Utterly disgraceful. Using that reward-prestige-exclusivity-memory, and banking on it. Disgusting.
Gate-keeping pixels, some might say, well, that goes against those who earned the mounts. “Why was the blessed blade of the Windseeker not handed out to everyone in 2006? It had been 2 years since launch why not?” How to destroy the in-game’s world vibes 101. It’s the same feelings the majority felt in Legion with artifacts handed out to everyone, seeing all the paladins with the Ashbringer. What a joke we all laughed with. Of course, that’s how grossly corporate Acti-Blizz are, squeezing bone dry any cool factors within the game in an attempt to satisfy financial quarterlies.
It’s pixels for corporate business people yeah… but if we are going to play the pixels: the game, then make it bloody good, like hell I want reminders of lousy, cheap, disloyal corporate tricks in the game.
OK that was… Well I don’t know really what it had to do with Gnome pallys… But… You seem to have ants in your pants about something.
Are you in the right thread?
Oh and dude? Don’t go stalking me on other threads…
gnome paladins would be hilarious
imagine them on the divine steed
