You know, i was never really interested about taming a new pet, until i thought about it recently.
I went to bastion because i really like the look of the fox and the larion, and guess what, turns out neither are ferocity, i am 100% sure that you used to be able to swap spec for pets, and now i can’t.
I have to wonder, who decided to remove this choice? Genius, thank god that you value player choice.
Something along the lines of making tames more meaningful. Otherwise 1 pet would have all the specs. Not a fan of the change either but doubt they will change it anytime soon.
Seems to me that “making meaningful choices” has been the slogan for many of the most disliked changes in wow.
But what do i know… They clearly know better…
I guess in their eyes, they get to decide what is a meaningful choice or not. If i wanna use a pet that i find appealing because i like the design, but it’s the wrong spec i guess that’s not a meaningful choice.
While in reality people for the most part just don’t wanna be annoyed with stupid trash and just play what they want with no caveats.
Yeah it was a bad decision to remove the ability to change specs.
Now a lot of new pets will go unused since they are the wrong spec…
I’m taming the cool looking ones aaaannnnnd into storage they go, to never see the light of day again because they are utterly useless.
If they want them to have meaning then let us tame blank pets and then train/level them in the spec we want. Some time & energy will be invested so will be more meaningful to the players.
Could be a good time to expand a proper talent tree again for them.
