Why can I not sent gold to my alts cross realm or to the other faction?

Is there a technical reason as to why? Whenever I consider changing to horde or changing realms I always back out because I don’t want to make all the gold I already have again. So what is the reason I can’t send gold to my alts on the opposite faction and also to my alts on other realms?

Because Blizzard wants you to pay for character transfer.

The reason is it would change the ecomomy on certain realms. Every realm has it’s own pricing for items, You could farm gold on a realm that is great at selling stuff, then transfer it over to another realm and mess with the players who have it hard enough as it is.

$$$$$$$$$ and satisfying share holders, bobby etc.

Fair enough… what about other faction same server? :stuck_out_tongue:

These forums… everything is “something something Ceo 200 million” Doesn’t matter what it is. Even when it doesn’t make sense.

That’s a fair request. I forgot the Auction houses are shared now tbh.

Are they? :face_with_raised_eyebrow: I thought just the Booty bay one was… since… Vanilla? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

buy multi guild tabards and send mail and sell on alt u get like 120g ea tabard

Currently the only ways to send over gold that cross faction is a trusted person on either side or a second account.

if you just want to switch faction, you can auction some worthless grey for millions, and have a trusted guildie buy it with your gold.
you’ll loose some in AH fees, but it’s pretty easy and quick.

In WoD all of them became cross-faction.

Well that’s just not true. You never could before paid realm transfer was brought in.

It just makes you wonder why people are paying so much money to a company to play a game with huge content drought, and then their CEO takes home a 200 million bonus.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not against CEO bonuses… but there is a huge customer dissatisfaction at the moment… that’s not deserving of such a big bonus.

Thats the most reliable way (kinda) I tend to buy stuff equal to the value on the AH that is accountbound like pets, then sell them on other faction. It may take time but sometimes I end up with slightly more than I intended to transfer (or less) so there’s some variation.

You could also list something on AH for a price nobody else would buy. And if someone does do it’s a win/win situation

You lose the AH cut that way though.

It’s getting very tedious.

Dissatifaction of some players is not a measure for bonuses, profits from last year are.

It’s an outdated restriction from the days before we had a shared main AH and gold tokens. It seems kind of pointless these days but we can only send BoA items across to alts on other realms or factions.

You can transfer it via the AH if you have a trusted friend, but you lose out on the AH fees.

Cage pets and sell em works for me when I start up on a new server. Do a bit of homework on what sells for similar price the realm you buy it on, and sell it on.
