Why can so many DPS

Not press their interrupt buttons?
cause interrupts don't deal any damage
To add to it; Why do so many tanks who can dispel diseases not know how to dispel diseases? They just stand there "WHAT HAPPEN???" when you wipe in Underrot because you got the stun disease on you and they don't dispel you so you can heal.
I always interrupt when I can but sometimes you don't know what to prioritize and there's really no way to tell except from prior experience
For example enemy casts spell
I interrupt
Enemy casts an even more powerful spell
Well !@#$ I just used my interrupt

Diseased mind rarely ever gets interrupted then you have tanks who can't even press their dispel button if it's on the healer.

***If you talking about running in raids/M+ then perhaps it's not really necessary. If you as a group survive whether due to heals or tank making up for it then it is what it is.
***I only interrupt when it is beneficial to ME and if it can wipe the group/raid if I don't...
Think i get equally annoyed by people with offensive dispels that don't use it when necessary. Scratch that, make it utility in general since it really shows the difference between someone who can heal and dps and those with the extra awareness necessary to make things go smoother.

Leave. Leave now. Go away. You're bad.

Pretty shortsighted. When casts go through because you know they can take the dmg what really happens is that they burn CD's -> they need to pull less and slower -> increased risk of wiping because CDs are not available when they need them.

It's like if the tank was thinking "yeah we can down these mobs with just 2 dps, so I'm going to let that caster mob kill that one dps".

With how trash works and mobs work in general now interupts/dispells are key and screw your dps .
Its a team game you are not a team player your mindset is awful .

Awful mindset, don't go preaching it around as I'd rather not be paired with people like this.

Interrupting isn't on a GCD, there's no excuse to not doing it with exception to people learning the game and all that which is fully understandable.

Actually; it's not always so much that they don't, it's that they don't make a rotation between themselves and when the next ability needs to be interrupted, everyone's interrupt is on cooldown, very annoying, yes.

It's extremely frustrating as a healer.

No, they just don't. I have addons to track whenever people use their interrupts, very few actually use them frequently.
Because i have no idea what i'm doing half the time, it's my first, and hopefully last run through that dungeon/raid,and therefore i have not learned the tactics properly yet.
(Yes,i read the dungeon guide, but my memory goes on strike sometimes)
I'm only there because "quest" told me to go there for wrapping up the questline.
So i just follow the tank, crossing my fingers, and hoping for the best. :)

M+ on high keys and particularly fortified weeks you need to interrupt most casts...

All I am saying is that if it is necessary to prevent a wipe sure thing but if I have to worry about dispelling, interrupting knowing that it will not change anything... why? (That one click could mean a 50k crit or just 30k extra damage to the boss)
If what you're fighting has a mana bar, get it killed - QUICK; don't care if it turns out to not be a Healer, the chance ain't worth taking.
Whole game we're fighting mobs that does not teach us that not interrupting that Pyroblast will hurt us. We just don't care, and then we're allowed to go to dungeons.

Why should we use something we were never taught to use before? Hell I know some people that don't even have it binded!
And that's on Blizzard fault to the degree since learning curve doesn't really exist.
The other side is people being bad or just not caring. That's human nature.

As to why tanks don't dispel diseases when they potentially could? How can they know who has it without checking HPFrame of each teammate seperately?
Basic UI does not highlight dispellable debuffs. I am using ElvUi tho, and when I am not in healing spec the debuffs are not displayed.

Currently levelling up via dungeons, and through the 60 to 90 range I'd say about 85% of the players that come in don't actively interrupt anything.

It's actually the same for max level content too, including regular Mythic and Mythic+ unless you check and vet players coming in for their experience.

I posted a thread about healer awareness a while back, basically outlining some general things people need to be more aware of.

BfA seems to have killed off their remaining (if there was any to start with) skill.

I can imagine several reasons:

They're melee and out of range.

Some abilities look like they are uninterruptables, but turn out to be interruptable, leaving people to be slow on that.

Abilities that can't be interrupted.

Some windows of interruption are too narrow, and some players don't have the kind of reaction time that could allow them to interrupt immediately.

they mistimed their interrupt at the same time someone else used it, so they aren't able to interrupt at that given moment.

Stuff like that.
