Why can the survivor use 2 weapons?

These days, as I have started to see and collect transfigurations, I have realized one thing.

I am Hunter Survival, end of statement.

Just kidding.
Why is the Hunter Survival able to use 1-handed weapons, indeed, 2 1-handed weapons but, all his damage abilities require using 2-handed weapons?
It would be nice to be able to use 2 weapons, as the game lets us equip them… To be exact we are allowed to use “Axes, daggers, Hand weapons and swords”.

I know that survival is a class that nobody uses but I love it and since we are very few, let us be happy using weapons.

I want to open a dispute.

Survival is the current hunters top specc, and has been for a while now. I assure you plenty play it.

And the reason: very simple.

One choice becomes meta, the other side pays rhe prices with balancing hitting it harder, and then 1 half of the audience goes nuts about it.

I dont think balancing needs to be complicated further with this

36,592 Survival vs 95,238 Marksmanship and 235,896 beasts.

Logs M+
25,077 Survival vs 72,376 of Marksmanship and 100,913 beasts.

I will not deny that it is the most fun and that is why I ask why not to use 2 weapons as in the old days.
