Heyo! I’ve just recently started getting back into M+, and I’ve ran into what seems to be a very silly design accident? mistake? which is somewhat annoying. I use Fated Fortune Cookies for my food buff, but the issue is after eating one you get a Fated Fortune Card, which is a cute fun addition, but it makes it so I cannot reapply my food buff if I die because “Cannot loot items while Challenge is active”, which is not nice. Hoping this will get fixed/changed in the future.

Had this issue too. Do you know how expansive it is buying feasts all the time lol cmon blizz
The embelishment that gives you 100% more time and not losing it on death is your best friend. The money I saved with this one.

After spending 80k on getting it, I saved atleast 200k on food buffs 
I dont know from where, but I had it in my inventory. Not sure if from a WQ, Quest, M+ Loot or weekly. So I dodge that bullet somehow
found the reason why: Drops from community feast weekly… so I was really lucky
Feast can drop it extremely rarely.

I find it cute. What is not to like about the idea that a cosmic horror diety with tentacles and the willingness to enslave all life for his void dadd… Lords, has you always on his minds? So romantic

Euhm this is not a bug fyi, that food you cannot eat in m+, THIS IS NOT A BUG.
As of this writing you cannot use this food while in a Mythic+ once it has started. This is because you technically “loot” an item when eating it, and M+'s loot restriction comes into effect once the dungeon has started. I will update this comment if/when they fix this. This is unfortunate for those who, like me, have this as their BiS stat food outside of feasts.
