I love Pandaria, probably my favourite questing zone, I don’t get that it isn’t from 80 to 100 like Northren + Outland is 58 to 80?
Is it possible that in the future we could have Pandaria be from 80 to 100?
Cataclysm and MoP suffered the most from this XP normalization. Orifinally level 80-90 had insanely high amount of XP requirements to compensate for Cata and MoP having only 5 levels, and to accommodate most zones.
Now you get from 80-90 just by completing like 2 zones. The scaling is a good idea, but it needs to be much broader. Like, with the old world, you can basically get 1-60 by just completing for example, the night elf zones or the human zones, etc.
Why not have broader level brackets so we could level from, let’s say level 60 to 90 or 100 by completing all of Outland or all of Pandaria for example. It’d be a much better flow than dipping into an expansion’s story and quickly overleveling it.
WoD especially certainly needs to be combined with Legion at least.
