Being alliance while using the LFG system still feels super annoying because you can’t whisper the leader of 90% of groups despite having signed up for their group
If someone expects you to whisper curve or something for an invite you’re screwed

Not related to ignore system, it’s just you cannot whisper anyone from the other faction if they happen to be the leader of a group in LFG.

Maybe you can put curve in the signup note? But yeah they should just remove the cross faction chat restrictions completely, creates a lot of issues for no reason.

The reason is because you can’t message someone in the opposite faction until you’re in the group with them, as it’s not yet a cross faction group. It seems to be a side effect of the “band aid” fix to allow chat in cross faction groups while keeping the factions separate in general.
Hopefully this issue will be resolved when we get cross faction guilds.
