Why choose a faction? if you're forced to play for the other faction?

As the title says, why choose a faction when in rated BG’s you’re going to be forced to play for the opposite faction?

It’s probably just my outlook because I’m jaded but it seems that every single time the game forces me to play on the Alliance side we get absolutely smashed in BG’s but when I get to play as horde (seeing as I’m Undead) we smoke the Alliance. There should be a toggle to choose if you want to be put on the opposite faction for shorted queue times. At least then we’d have some control over our faction at the cost of waiting a few more minutes.

I know the win rates are far of 50/50 but damn… we used to be pitted against eachother and now we’re forced to play nice with eachother? come on man, add a toggle!

The only reason this is a thing to reduce queue duration for horde by 15 to 20 minutes. Alliance queues where always instant, and now alliance queues are about equal…

Legit 1v2’d two alliance players yesterday and felt bad.
We still lost the BG and they left before they could take the win, but man.
Sometimes an impeccable alliance team comes but it’s not often.
I’ve thought of swapping to alliance just to aid but nah.

Lets not pretend like factions have even mattered since BFA lol. Who cares. We just queue to play the game.

Its all pros. Not only reduces queue times but also shuffles factions so no more whinning “The Alliance/Hord always wins!”
