So this is my 1st character leveling through timewalking campaign. I was doing quests in eastern plaguelands and trying to unravel the story about whats going on in that zone and why everything’s undead in there but as soon as I hit level 60 by turning in some quests I got teleported to stormwind within 10 seconds. I was shocked when this happened. I asked my wife wth suddenly happened because she is also leveling her first character in wow through timewalking campaign and she is currently lvl 30+. She also has no idea what happened. So I made this post because I am confused as hell. Also all my quests just turned into grey color and give 0 xp and 0 gold. I would like to know what the hell went wrong suddenly.
Chromie levelling is from 10-60 and you are very unceremoniously evicted once you reach the cap.
This article came out when 60 was the end game cap, therefore it refers to 50.

go back and finish the quests
The quests give 0 xp and 0 gold. And all the mobs reverted back to lvl 30 and die in 1 auto attack hit now. Its really immersion breaking like this.
But if you were enjoying the story Exp doesn’t matter right? If you want Exp go do Dragonflight content.

Anyways, it’s indeed annoying to be teleported like that.
It’s realistic, though. No more health pool logic. Although that you are invincible maybe not so much, but you are an unlikely quasi-undefeatable hero anyway, so it doesn’t matter much, haha.
I assume that you get booted out of it might be in part because Blizzard considered it too difficult to design it so that stuff suddenly doesn’t scale anymore and in part because they want to push people to keep leveling and not having them end up being just as confused for different reasons.
In a way, since it is Chromie time having you experience the past that doesn’t fit well into the current game world, it could be considered MORE immersive this way, since, you know, … ‘it was all just a dream’. - Cynically Blizzard assumed the player is only doing that content for variety in leveling to 60 as quickly as possible.
