(The same Alekstrazsa who fought Deathwing in a 1v1) and then decides not to kill her because Wrathion tackled her?
This isn’t Game of Thrones. We can’t kill too many major charaters otherwise there would be no game.

Alexstraza lost her titan juju since fighting Deathwang and Razageth said she wants Alexstraza to witness how everything she worked toward is annihilated.

she checked the script it and it said it was not alex’s time to die yet 
but more seriously why she was fighting alone there was like 20 other dragons in the zone alone
Other dragons were fighting other Primalist Protos most likely
Trying to be charitable… There are supposed to be family dynamics at play. This is a deeply personal thing between clutchmates, aka siblings, and just killing her might not have felt “right” in the moment, because that should be more weighty to be carthatic. Just like Raza wasn’t killed, but imprisoned because of this relationship.

Because she wants Alex suffering, not dead. Death is an easy escape.
Or something more mundane, the sudden appearence of Wrathion, whom she considers to be a weak whelp, made her believe her lines were broken and all the red dragons were now coming as reinforcement.
Strazsa fought Deathwing when she was a fully powered aspect on top of Deathwing being incapable of unleashing his full power
Deathwing full power was contained within his armoured scales which the Demon Soul blasted off, and only when did he fall apart in the tentile entity at the end of Cataclysm
Strazsa lost a lot of her aspect given power at the end of Cataclysm
Old God Corrupted Death wing > Cataclysm armoured Deathwing > Razageth > Full Power Strazsa > Weakend Strazsa
