Why did they even remove PvP-stats in PvP-gear?

Title says it all… I’ve barely played since Cata and I don’t get this.

Because everything gets removed in WoW eventually.

Until every class becomes an untextured cube, with the same abilities.

Because Raiders complained their gear was less effective in PVP.

Sadly BFA is the final result of it.

Want to do PVP ?
You have to Raid if you want the BiS.

How ironic.
The expansion that was marketed as Faction conflict is the most PVE oriented of them all.

Cheers.

To reduce overcomplication.

And of course then, they decided to introduce us to shadowlands system which is 10 times more complicated.

So who knows?

For now, consider versatility, your pvp stat. Most classes don’t need it for pve anyways.

Oficial statement was so that people dont have to farm two separate gear sets.

So they removed it and now you have to farm 15 separate gear sets for anything you do.
Brilliant. :ok_hand:

They were removed to reduces the amount of gear you needed. People are complaining now about having to carry around extra Azerite pieces. But back in MoP (and prior) some classes, like a Paladin need 5 full sets to compete in all content.

So it becomes mmorpg, wow pvp is not based on skill but based on team skill unlike other games with pvp like arcade games and fps games where pure raw skill matters the most.

Trying to make wow pvp or pve game is a bad thing, they need to stick to the mmorpg formula player with stronger gear and better class will always beat pure raw skill.

Bfa proved you wrong, buddy.
