Why did they remove cast while casting mind flay?
Before you could cast Mind Blast while channeling mind fly.
It was a fun mechanic.
Because it takes a thing that’s typically a way to improve a spec’s ability to do damage on the move and removes it.
If you are channelling mind flay and you have to move for a mechanic for 1 GCD, you lose 1 GCD of mind flay.
If you are channeling mind flay and proc a mind blast, you can move for that GCD and lose no damage.
BUT if you have a mind blast proc and can spend it during mind flay, you can’t move on that instant mind blast proc without losing that mind flay again.
Personally I value the damage while moving more than being able to channel flay more.
because the coding company devs dont get along. ‘‘but hey they added an alextraza in the log in screen’’.
I think the cast mind blast over mind sear and mind flay made sense.
Would make the shadow flame prism good now i gotta stop cast mind flay when i cast mind blast which is irritating. Blizzard has screwed up shadow priest for 4 more years.
