Why did you choose the Horde/Alliance?

No Tauren on Alliance.

as opposed to honorable edgelords? xd half of horde chars can’t shut up about honor it is mentioned way more than on ally side.

Yet that is not how the faction is promoted.

idk i haven’t seen any promotions

It’s the aesthetics that sold the Alliance to me. We spend quite a bit of time in faction capitals, and places like the garrison have a faction theme. Save for Silvermoon, I did not like Horde cities very much. As such, I stuck with Alliance for the most part.

only kids play Mechagnome lol

forced to play orc for the racial, pretty simple

Horde: I love orcs.
Alliance: I love Night Elves.

Blood elves

horde = genocide survivors and ex slaves fighting to find a place in the world

echoes way more with me than any of the all mighty bigots alliance trash

Started back in vanilla. I went to humans straight away and picked warrior.
I was in the mindset that i wanted to represent humans and anything non human was the enemy.
Yeah later on i did regret not taking my time to explore it all. But the alliance side just grew on me as i like the architecture (spelling) more and it felt more clean.

No that i’ve become older and wiser i lost all faith in humanity and tend to stay away from any human race in any game possible

i was forced to play it my sister made me an offer i couldn’t refuse aka she begged me to play horde :stuck_out_tongue: and blood elves are the only redeeming aspect of this trash faction but i had to suffer until tbc playing a filthy orc

My ex I started playing with wanted to be Horde…went Ally during mop long after we had broken up

What would be the alliance vs horde without the racials ? Horde racials are better in raid and alliance in pve/pvp.

it is les rep grind as human thz to 10% rep increase :stuck_out_tongue:

Hard question. I was like 12 years old when I played WoW for the first time. I went for the alliance first but can’t remember really what drove me to main horde. I guess it was the opportunity to play an evil-looking race in an evil-looking army and faction (Back in the old models era) but I could be wrong.
However, I do remember that I felt undeads were gross and didn’t play forsaken until it was the last race to play on the list :joy:

I chose Alliance because, way back, no horde race could be a paladin and I wanted to be a paladin.

Because Garrosh Hellscream aand Sylvanas Windrunner. At least one of the factions tries to keep a honourable public face.

I dont like Sylvanas  But horde has amazing leaders…sad blizzard kills every savage horde leader.

It takes Blizzard a handful of expansions to kill them off, which says a lot about how little honour there actually have been in the Horde.

Right now the Horde have a supreme leadership, and I hope the council get expanded by also including the Alliance racial leaders, effectively merging the factions.
