Why did you choose the Horde/Alliance?

I play both faction. I like Alliance cuz have beautiful(imo) zones, buildings. But horde have more interesting, bigger and stronger characters(i like a troll/z.troll shaman than a dwarfy  ).
And U?

I chose horde because of faith. Lok’tar.

When i want to play druid or shaman as main i would choose zandalari, but if i want to play DK i think orc or maghar orc my choose.

It is very simple.

Elves.

Because the Alliance is for adults, and the horde is for babies.

Easy.
One is cool the other one isn’t.

Same here! :nail_care:

i chose Alliance as Worgen, because when i started playing this game, i chose to be Worgen druid and Mage

as the Horde, i like Furries and non-human races

also Worgen and Tauren are counterparts that“s why it“s my opinion

It all started back in October 2005.
My RL friend was playing a game that kept him constantly away from meeting with me and another friend.
It was something called World of Warcraft a MMORPG.
I decided to join him in the hopes of playing with him.
I asked which faction he was playing, he answered Horde.

Cheers.

My first character was a troll hunter in bfa but when i see the another zone(kul tiras) i want to start az alliance character. I just love Kul Tiras. But horde charcters looks better.

I choose Alliance because Horde as a faction is advertised by Blizzard as a faction for honourless edgelords. That said, despite most of my chars being Alliance races, all of them acknowledge the lore of the factions and thus are no patriots.

originally i played alliance in vanilla… i do generally play the good faction as it matches for the most part my moral compass irl …

however when my first ever guild died i decided to switch to horde in tbc… and have been horde since… because well, more players usually.

Yes,alliance guilds are so low population:/

My first character was a Forsaken Hunter back in January. From an outsider perspective The Horde have an identity of savagery, survival and honour.
Outsiders who have banded together to become stronger than than sum of thier parts.

In game however I feel like this identity has been eroded away and may one day be lost completely.
Just look around Orgrimmar, a fortress city of steel, bone and grit. A monument to the trails that the core Horde races have overcome

Now look. At the inhabitants of Orgrimmar. Sure you will see a couple of Orcs, the odd Troll and a handful of Tauren and Forsaken but the overwhelming majority of those you see will be regal and beautiful Elves or those vile little desert rats who both look completely out of place surrounded by the savagery and brutally of Orgrimmars architecture.

This is why I ended up favouring The Alliance, because even though some races stick out a little all races feel like they belong. Draenei might be alien squid goats and Mechagnimes are an abomination but they still feel like they belong.
The Alliance still has a sense of identity.
