I created a new toon an Argent Dawn, an D I Warri and after a long time playing Horde cause i had a guild there, the first quest in Elwynn feels like home to me, i love it and thats the main reason for me the Zones at the beginning.
Nothing beats Elwynn Duskwood and Lakeshire.
Teldrassil (love the music also) and Dun morogh are pretty fun also imo. And the worgen starting area!
I originally played Horde as that is where my friends who got me into WOW were, but things dwindled and I wasn’t playing much so I quit.
When I looked at rejoining, I found a restart group on the forums who were forming a guild and to quest and level through all content together on the Alliance side.
I think in my heart I’ll always be Alliance.
I do wish we had more non-human/oid races, would have been good to get the Desert foxes.
I like to world pvp and world pvp on horde is just pointless we are too many so I like to hunt them down.

I’m used to flip-flopping due to storylines and aesthetics, but I’m going to stay alliance from now on, mainly because Horde is the overly popular faction now and I like being the underdog.
My first real main was a bloodelf paladin, and I played Horde until SoO and the preview for Horde Garrisons. I thought they were so ugly (and Shadowmoon Valley so pretty), and I didn’t like being associated with Garrosh that I switched to Alliance until the end of WoD. Then during Legion I loved playing all Horde charas again, the divide wasn’t really there, until I got into BfA beta and had main hub envy (because pyramid of doom vs awesome pirate town), so I switched back to Alliance.
So the main decision was mostly based on how pretty I thought the respective hubs were, with the stupid “villain” storylines the horde keeps getting as an extra push. For a while I considered going back to horde after flying, because the pyramid became less bad and the Horde kicked out Sylvanas, but I’ve grown too attached to the fate of the Night Elves now (and my main is velf and they have the best racial for transmog addicts… >_>)
Still hoping for Night Elf Paladins, then I’d probably never play Horde again.
Was going to play an Undead originally, but then i discovered Shadowmeld. Ever since then - if it can be a Nelf, it will be a Nelf. It’s just so much QoL.
I can get behind the aesthetics, animations and story of Nelves too, but they (and consequently Alliance) would not be my top pick without that racial. These days it’d probably be a Mag’har orc.
I have always played Horde, right from half a year before BC and up untill WoD. I faction changed because I couldn’t stand the Horde Garrison, and found that the Ally garrison looked so nice.
Then I fell in love with the Draenei, and then the Worgen so I just kinda stayed on Team Blue ever since lol
Cus I wanted to play a paladin mainly (back in TBC) and allies had more choices. Then I mained nelf rogue and so on. Got stuck.
I was Horde for years but in BFA i race changed my main because Sylvanas…now with all the rumors about her…I might go back… I have alts on both sides…at heart I supose I am For The Horde…
