Why do hunters and priests get 100 yard auras?

Yesterdays hotfix “fixed” the hunter blessing of kings to have a 100 yard range, and priests Vampiric Touch effect also has a 100 yard range.

Why do these two get MASSIVE areas of effect? This is straight unfair compared to auras like Moonkin Aura with it’s 30 yard range. And Aspect of the Lion is raid wide as well? Wtf?

Laughs in 1-2 min duration 20 yards totems :dracthyr_hehe_animated: :dracthyr_hehe_animated: :dracthyr_hehe_animated: :dracthyr_hehe_animated: :dracthyr_yay_animated: :dracthyr_yay_animated: :dracthyr_yay_animated:

I mean, they had to keep the title of fotm, or the season’s overall favorites somehow

Same reason why a warrior’s Mini-Ony buff has 100 yard range.

Aspect of the Lion is supposed to be an alternative way to get blessing of Kings. King’s can be given to the entire raid and has no range limit so it makes sense

Season of Discovering how whiny this fanbase can be.

"Yesterdays hotfix fixed the hunter blessing of kings to have a 100 yard range, and priests Vampiric Touch effect also has a 100 yard range.

Could we consider adding this range increase to other spells such as Moonkin Aura, as this would represent a huge quality of life change to my class and my raid."

There, fixed it for you.

Not even knowing that in a fight like Ragoaros , they would themselves benefit from having that QOL change done to Hunter aura because , well they would not loose the aura after 40 yards.

That how whinny those people are about anything hunter related. Seems like some trauma has been done. But in that case they should not be here on the forums but they need to see a therapist

hearing other classes straight up get 100 yards ez breezy is in fact a little bit insulting considering shamans get 20 yards on totems when not talented and then weeeee a set bonus for an amazing 40 yards, like what.

maybe 40 yards should be standard so they won’t have an excuse to make boring set bonuses like this in the future, lol.

“can you move your totems closer pls”

no.
i can’t.
get in range or don’t get buff
/shrug.

Easy to answer. Blizz devs obviously rerolled from their old sod hero-class shaman to hunter.

So… hunter and priests get free yard buffs on auras while:

  • Shamans 20y totems
  • Paladin 30y Auras
  • Druid ToL/Moonkin Form 30-45y respectively
  • possibly more auras with 10-50y ranges

lol.

You are benefiting from that increase …

what a big brain argument.
ok, so your class benefit from totems and auras.

whats your argument now lol.

can i just point out, as a side note, that these takes are way too common from hunter posters?
good god man, never try your luck at chess because you lack the ability to think ahead even 1 move.

Seems like the general consensus is to whine as soon as hunters aren’t nerfed in some way. People won’y be happy until the class is completely unplayable because playing as a resto-druid would even deal more damage then them.

the funny thing is that despite you guys being taken from 3k dps to 2.5k dps you will claim the class is unplayable.

some classes don’t even get 3k hp, and thats hunters DAMAGE PER SECOND.
you do know what that means right?

get out.

I would like to add to the things that need a range increase: wild strikes. There are certain bosses like Ragnaros where a feral druid cannot both provide wild strikes to the tank and be able to shred without being in the lava, onyxia has a similar issue. Huge bosses that cause the range between melee dps and tank to be larger than the range of wild strikes. (This is a big problem with totems too without the 2set bonus)

Yeah , and that’s why I would be happy to see auras from paladins , priest and any other aura to be applied on a 100 y radius.

Never said the contrary.

But we know you , you are a cry baby who use any occasion to spit on hunters

i wouldn’t exactly say i spit on “all hunters”
i respect a good hunter player, but unfortunately most hunter players aren’t good hunter players.

you got people like nitromethane out here serving as a perfect example as to why i can’t stand hunter players in general (that is to say; most of the time).

dude claims the class is in poor shape.
dude can’t spell.
dude can’t argue.
dude leveled 16 hunters to 60 and claims the class is hard to master while everyone knows you can play it successfully while blindfolded, wheelchair bound, using pedals to control your character, with your pet on perma-aggressive mode and still succeed.

some of you have the most embarrassing takes i could possibly imagine like you guys really just aren’t doing yourself any favors in regards to even trying to get rid of the stigma that has clung to you for 20+ years.

it really doesn’t help that you guys can’t even be trusted not to screw up a dungeon run in one of a million ways because you can’t do the one thing you are entrusted to do, which is control your pet and dismiss it before making a crucial jump.

many a rend/UBRS run have already been ruined in SOD by you guys.
20 years and this is still happening regularly.

there’s a reason the term “huntard” is a stereotypical term that has been proven true time and time again and continues to be the case to this very day.

you really just are the worst.
what can i say.

To be fair, they should just change it so all aura’s from every class (I’m including shaman totems here) are set to 100 yards in raid, which will be a decent QoL change for everyone.
Surely there must be a way to set this to only in raids so it doesn’t unbalance PvP players outside of raids?

This is the same guy that was bashing someones parses yet he was a 60 parse andy him self.

Got exposed and is crying now.

Why he doesent like hunters is that one hunter killed him at the entrance when he was trying to join his BRD coin run, while he mains a shaman.

Kellduril did that, not Potatomilk.
