Last week i made a 437 weapon using a spark of shadowflame and now i find out i need another one just to recraft it to 447 ilvl. Surely im not going to be forced to wait 2 more weeks just to recraft.
huh ? wa go read wow head on this ting compleet guide shadow spark
You shouldn’t need sparks to recraft items you’ve already had made, just the enchanted aspect’s crest, a fraction of the original crafting materials, and some mettle.
I was mistaken, you do not need a 2nd spark to recraft.
You dont. There has been some confusion around the recrafting UI in season 2.
When you craft an item, there are slots for optional materials, namely the slot for the item that increases ilvl, the slot for the missives to choose the secondary stats and the slot for embellishments.
When you recraft an item, if you used any of these optional items when crafting it, they will be pre-filled with the item you used. You dont need a new one of those to recraft, but you can change them.
In season 1, the spark was not optional so there was no need to have a slot for it. in season 2, an item can either be ingenuity crafted (season 1) or shadowflame crafted (season 2). So there is now an option for what spark the item is be crafted with. So if you recraft after you’ve already crafted/recrafted with a spark of shadowflame, it will now show a slot withe spark of shadowflame in it, but it doesnt mean you need a new one each time.
