u can just go to ah buy 475 gear and go grind 90k echoes for Infinite Stars rank 3s to ur all gear slots running around with 675 Corruption and just blow up stuff.

Doubt that someone wilk be carried through like 50+ dungeons, ofc u need each dungeon once for score, but for those of us who reads rio corectly, number of finished dungeons is also important, so someone with 2k rio and 15 timed dungeons is more likely boosted than someone with 2k rio and 50 finished.

That doesnt mean the 50 runs one cant be bad, its just more likely they wont be totaly garbage.

If you’re the host of a M+ group and you invite some guy who you have no background knowledge about and he overalls 15k-20k dps in a +10, you’ll understand why you -need- this addon.

And even then sometimes the degree of M+ nets negative results, like my WM15 key getting destroyed because the healer and tank had the most stupid disagreement even though it was on track to time. :man_shrugging:

Not everyone knows that the original japanese line of Vegeta was “Hassen ijou da” which means “Over 8000” and not 9000.
They only changed 8 with 9 in the english version.

In Legion for like +18 or more you needed good wowprogress or rio score to be invited to a pug. In BfA they made trash and some bosses more annoying and/or having single playet responsibility mechanics that can crash the run if not handled properly. That’s why for higher chances of successful pug such addon/score become a thing even for low keys.

 Found out you had to download it daily to keep the score updated
 Uninstalled it.

Also you kneed to make an account on his site to link alts.

Someone with 100+ timed +15’s most certainly didn’t buy a boost. Rio is the single best addon for making good pugs, anybody arguing against it is just angry cause they got rejected a lot.

basically, ingame armory. So you don’t have to tab out or ask “link achievement”

Achievements such as AOTC were mass-bought before RIO was even conceived so this isn’t any issue.

If you shift-click a player you can see more info. Such as # of boss kills on each boss and full mythic+ results, with highest key on each dung and also number of timed runs in each bracket. You can easily distinguish a boost from legit player.

12/12 hc but only 1 boss kill on each? Likely a boost (unless it’s an alt, yes you can mark a “main” in RIO as well)

Only timed runs in 15+ bracket with 0 timed runs in 10-14 bracket or lower? Very likely a boost.

You have to spend an asston of gold in order to make a believable RIO character sheet through boosting. Which is not what people buy boosts for. They buy boosts to complete an achievement, get the mount & title before it gets removed, get some good gear in the process. Challenge Mode boosting was popular in MOP and WOD, people just wanted to get the xmog sets before they are axed from the game. They had no intent of running these CM’s again in actual group.

No you don’t, I update it maybe twice each month, scores don’t change that much that you need to update every day. Nobody cares if you’re 3k or 3050 rio.

your profile updates anyway though.
my GM haven’t updated her addon in ages, she said that it says 1200 rating for her.
I saw 1900 rating.

People will always see your real rating, regardless whether you care to update the addon or not. You can even delete it, it will still update if you have a profile set on RIO website.

Even if it is your key, most likely people will not join your key, because of your low RIO and that makes them feel like you are expecting free boosting. Obviously if you always run your own keys, your RIO would be naturally growing, but if you one week complete high dungeon with help of friend and get high key from weekly chest, it could happen that people will not join your key just because of your low RIO.
