Why do people hate on service for unwanted?

Been running a good amount of healing for unwanted dungeons so far but i get so much hate for it anywhere from being called ninja looter in general, thief, griefer, go back to iran, cringe and so on. and most people when they hear it they scream kick but just exactly why?

I’m fully pre-raid BIS and can’t use anything from any of the dungeons so i don’t have any needs to go to any of the dungeons

if no one can use it then why does it matter. you lose maybe 5-10g on the 1-2 blues you might have won a greed roll on but you are completely fine with HR of items

so where does the hate come from and why?

Its way to early to even offer these services tbh. So many people still gearing so cant even imagine therw will be many groups willing to take a service atm.

Depends on how you do it. If they all agree fine. But if you get into a group then announce it then you deserve the hate.

Also many people hate HR also.

But how does this matter i don’t see
If someone needs an item for MS or OS they need and get it? but if no one needs an item then they don’t need it and doesn’t affect them gearing?

I’m fully prebis gearded and need nothing so offer a service, i seen people invite me in just to say fu and then kick me and then the next 30 min i see them in LFG channel “need healer”

I put it in my details in the group finder that i’m healing for unwanted items, when someone invites me and i join i make sure to ask if the leader read it and that if people is okay with it and thats where i get the hate, every single group leader had the note right there when they invited and knew it.

Why do you feel entitled for the extra gold? Lets be honest here. The diffrence between a fresh 80 and a bis pre raid geared 80 is not that big compared to later in an expansion when you are way overgearing it and tanks/healers tend to be harder to find. You arent really carrying the group. Especially not as a healer.

From personal experience i would never inv a carey that takes all the scraps during first phase cause there is plenty of people still running dungeons at that points.

Later phases its more common and a bit more accepted.

Edit: some scraps can be worth a lot of gold. Abyss crystals are 180g on golemagg for example. There is plenty of bad epic drops from final dungeon bosses to take to dissenchant.

That’s why we need to have RDF. RDF would bring more healers to the game, now when I try to create grp as tank, many healers say they want all items that nobody needs. Guess what, enchanters need all items too. And there are many who do this without asking.

Not a good hill to die on …

Because its unethical. Why would you even do these dungeons if you dont need them for less gold than doing a round of dailies?

So you just rock up to a random group and then announce that you’re gonna need on all items so you can vendor/disenchant them and then you’re surprised when people go “Yo what the …??” in response?
Kekw.
Ok then.
I can’t imagine why they’d be annoyed and call you a ninja at all just because you try to loot every item drop.

If I understand you heal to get BoE drops no one needs, right? Or in other words: reserving all BoEs which arent upgrades?

Reserving is always bad, and reserving all BoE is just greedy.
I would’nt join tbh.

^This.
I detest runs that are unwanted, HR or payed for and would just never enter one of those. I’d rather not do a dungeon at all. That’s how I feel about those runs.

Isn’t it obvious?

Everyone is struggling together.

Simple just get enchanting and need epics others don’t need as an upgrade. ez gold.

i tank for unwanted, while leveling. Some people accept it, some dont.

never mind, i’ve misread that whole threadstart.

but why roll need on items you or the other players don’t actually need?

disenchanting or vendoring isn’t a really good reason.

and SR or HR is just loot securing, i would not join any of those runs.

  • Unwanted items for tanks / heals?
    Next group please.

  • HR items?
    Next group please.

  • GDKP raids?
Next raid please. Only MS>OS or SoftReserve thx.

Easy for me

Reserving “unwanted” items is just pure greed, so I think it’s worse than HR. What you’re doing I saw plenty in TBC from tanks, but it’s just a bit sleazy.

And right now there are plenty of tanks/healers, you don’t really have any value you’re offering.

It is even worse, when you take in account the newly added package rewards for tanks and healers.
If it works and people will accept OPs conditions, they can do whatever they want.

Then OP, do not cry about your bad reputation on your home server.

Being pre-raid bis doesn’t mean You don’t benefit from the dungeon! You:
get emblems which You can spend on PvP gear, heirlooms, items for offspec, mount or frozen orbs (which You can then sell for profit), or You can keep them for later phases.
get stone keeper shards - also a currency
get reputation via tabard
get Your own, personal supplies bag with flasks for raiding - THIS IS THE INTENDED INCENTIVE FOR HEALING A HEROIC DUNGEON
get Your share of gold and loot, same as everyone else.

You get all of these, and yet You think it’s not enough?

Also this. Why do You run this dungeons then? For a few blue items worth 20-40 gold (assuming You are right that one person’s share is 5-10, and You get the shares of 4 other people)? I don’t think so. You rather enjoy all the benefits pointed above, yet You are greedy enough to ask for more.

And here’s Your answer: Greed is what people hate about “selling services for unwanted”.

It’s a case of principles.
It’s quite early days, still and if you don’t need to run the dungeons, then don’t.

Mostly you joining the group and then stating your demands, instead of stating your demands before joining the group, I would assume
