been playing around with mage this season, and arcane is by far the easiest and most intuitive spec of em all. it was easy to get the hang of and you really dont have a lot of buttons either.
fire mage though on the other hand… jesus
Fire mage is the hardest of the three by far. If you mess up your combo even just a bit you are off doing rez sickness damage for at least 15-20 seconds. Fire mage unfortunately relies way too much on combustion which is on one hand fun when you pop it and everything goes perfect but unfun and totally unbalanced when you are off combustion.
They should shift damage outside of combustion it seems they are onto something with hyperthermia. We will see as season goes. Arcane and frost are boring tbh and way easier.
