Yesterday I decided to install raiderio, cause I’m gearing an alt and it could be nice to know what peoples main score is when inviting to mplus. However, after installing it, I get massive 1sec lag spikes inside mplus.
I have had such spikes before, and remember ending up without raider io that time as well.
So after deleting everything raiderio, both in WTF savedvariables and in addons, lag is completely gone. If you guys have such lags, try deleting this first. It’s the kind of lag that makes you die cause it freezes you.
Is it just me how have it like this? I have no idea why raiderio of all things would cause lag, you would think it was WA, BW etc, but its not. And also, I could not simply disable the addon, I still had lags. I had to delete it completely.
I’ve had the addon installed since I first discovered it (late BfA, I think). Have never had lag spikes outside of known issues that have nothing to do with the RIO addon.
I just found it really weird that raiderio of all addons could cause such a stir. I started DF completely fresh, deleted both WTF and Interface addon as DF freed me from using a lot of addons such as elvui, bagnon etc because of edit mode solved it more or less.
An addon that causes game to completely lag to the point of freezing a 0.5-1sec, and only in dungeons and raids, is such a weird phenomenon.
