Why do so many people on the US forums hate this game?

Father = dies in war (only introduced at the end) ( 14.3%)
Mother = Suicide ( 14.3%)
2 x children = Murdered (28.5%)
3 x support staff = TB Outbreak (42.9%)

The vast majority die of TB if you include to the father as a primary cast member then it drops from 50% to 42%.

Proportionally, the vast majority of people die of TB.

I do try to avoid such crass words, but yes. Basically.

Yoooo go and look at Diablo 4 forums that is some 24/7 pure hatred

Can you link the threads?

Lmao what are u taking about. Everybody is whining here all the time about something.
Just go to the classes subsection and everybody is whining about how bad their class is

+1 here - the warrior subsection has more whine than Taylor Swift

because america is filled with so much hate in the last decade

ikr, idk why EU dudes have to talk about what them dudes are talking about. they have their own political issues just as we have our own.

lets just enjoy what we have and not pretend the US forums are better.

Yeah like Europe isn’t hateful lmao.

We’re “critical”

Why do you care what people post on the US forums?

Any form of social media/forums are normally full of morons who can’t tell the difference between their elbow and their butt hole.

People do like to voice their frustration and the developers/community team focus more on the US forums, as the majority of the EU team were fired/made redundant years ago. Blizzard uses a lot more machine learning tech in EU, so a lot of things are automated here.

Because the only forums the devs even pretend they visit is the usa one. So like it or hate it the usa forum is the voice of the players

I assume it’s easier for some to whine in the internet cause if you start yelling in real life in people faces for no reason nothing will go well

Well, most of you out there (not talking about you Cogzilla, but people in general), wouldn’t yell in someones face in real life, as they’re too scared of the possible backlash that could happen.

In the US and most Western EU countries, most are too scared to offend someone, while the rest would be branded transphobic for complaining about something, that is nothing related to that subject… but that’s a WHOLE different story of stupidity of the human condition in 2023.

From my point of view the question is: why are you NOT angry, when we all know that WoW has the potential to be infinitely better than it’s current state?

The endless greed from the upper management, and the incompetence of some of the devs at Blizzard (especially the writing team), just drags this game down so much.

Some of you might not even remember because you guys were too young, or wasn’t yet involved in gaming, but back in the days Blizzard used to be among the absolute best dev studios. A titan of the industry, bringing out absolute S tier games, without a miss. So accepting mediocrity and incompetence from them just feels weird.

That’s a bit harsh.

because thats the only forums wich exists to blizzard. So their complaints and demands even if they are nonsensical are going to get listened to if blizz decides to look for player feedback.

Wich is also the same reason why some many big companies import the woke stuff to europe. Because they are based in the usa

Literally the first thread on the US lore forums.

Mostly because the game is really bad in a lot of places.

Lore is completely boring. The story telling is not good either… not to mention that especially in the past you needed the books, since the ingame story only tells half of it.

The Balance is a mess, while this also being a cometitive game.

The openworld-content sucks so people that dont want to do raids, pvp or m+ are left with nothing.

Most cosmetics and collectables are just reused models and recolours.

Due to the WoW-Token this game became a even bigger boosting mess and you can even argue that it became p2w.

The main problem is, it tries to cater to everyone and by that it fails to deliver a good quality product.

I wouldnt play this game if I wouldnt played with friends and it wouldnt have M+

As an American who moved to the EU years ago, it’s mostly because we are more vocal and entitled.

We have a very social and expressive culture, publicly and openly critical and verbal about our feelings, we don’t fear confrontation.

I notice that Europeans on the other hand are a lot more reserved and introverted in expressing their feelings and thoughts. They only express those in small circles, if even that and they’re not very vocal and direct about it, it takes a lot for them to get there.

I prefer the more reserved and quiet nature of people on EU, but I really miss the openness, banter, social skills and humor from the American side, especially since we’re all English speakers there where as in the EU it’s a second language for many. But on the American side there’s a lot of trolls, whining and drama. But I miss on the US side being able to ask a question and get an answer within seconds or minutes.

I also think IMO that the Devs listen or used to listen more to the US forums than the EU forums. It feels quite dead on the EU forums in comparison, in terms of interaction. US forums feel a lot more lively and like the “true forum”, where the EU forums feel more like a spinoff of the original.
