Streamers create videos aka content, so they are content creators.

The vast majority of streamers do not only stream but they create content on other platforms that brings in viewers to their stream, since twitch is not a very good place for being discovered if you are a smaller channel. So they mostly create YT content on top of streaming, patreon stuff, etcâŚGiving commentary on someone elseâs content is content too, especially if the commentary or opinions are by someone who is knowledgeable on the topic. Reuploading / restreaming someone elseâs content - not good, ur gonna get banned. Restreaming / Reuploading with your own input or commentary - is transformative content and fair use of the source material.

Common misconception of the words/phrase , Content creator means he creates his own youtube videos(as in editing and creating them he is the protagonist) , not the game itâs self .
If a specific streamer says he actually creates wow content thatâs on an entire new lvl of self-absorbed .
Pretty sure itâs just food for the un-educated poor souls .

What I´m saying is, Toddlers really like reactionvideos. Asmongold delivers on that.
Oh, and on a more personal note. Watching people play games on Twitch is lame, no matter who plays and who watches.
I couldnt think of a less appealing form of entertainment. I rather watch paint dry.

Kinda different. Not everyone is in a position to they themselves play in a football game with professionals on a proper pitch with proper rules, so watching such is entertaining.
Everyone who watches twitch is likely in a position to play the game they themselves are watching someone else play.
I mean I get it when youâre watching stuff like MDI and AWC, because thatâs about watching people on another skill level, doing what you canât, but I donât really get people who watch another person play when that person doesnât really do anything remarkably different from what you yourself are capable of. Itâs like watching someone else watch tv.
I mean, if people enjoy that, thatâs fine, I guess I just donât understand it. My main point is comparing some person who is just âplaying wowâ and not doing anything particularly spectacular in it is nothing like watching a professional game of football at all - and I myself donât like football.
A better analogy might have been âdo you go to the park with your football to watch the other random people kick around their ball?â because I would agree with you, that sounds really wierd, but i donât think people actually do that. Whereas there are people who will whilst playing a game, watch other people also playing the game even if the person they;re watching is just doing mundane stuff like running around in Oribos.
I think the main reason people watch streams outside of stuff like MDI AWC or high skill play is the personality of the streamer themselves tbh, not so much that theyâre actually gaming. Itâs more their narrative whilst gaming. I can get behind doing it for that reason certainly, as opposed to actually watching them game in-itself being interesting.
