Why do the Rat people Burn!?

Who is writing the quests / stories at blizzard? 4/7 campaign in and we’ve been introduced to the new underground zone, introduced to the rat people (annoying at first but loveable thereafter), run around with a Tauren and human who belong to the black dragonflight who both proceed to get injured during their futile attempts to kill a steroid popping dragon. Roid rage ensues and the dragon burns the rat village and kills our new rat friends who we just met. WHY!? Does this not feel like a lot of story within 1-2 hrs of questing or is it just me?

Also the cutie races are okay, but where are the badass races that we used to have?

i do kinda abree on

It would be cool to have some races that are more Aggressive looking as friendly / Neutral races. Niffens and Drogbars are not bad thoe.

Haven’t gotten to that part yet but I like this campaign already.
