Why do we still call Anduin a priest?

I mean, human Paladins are just priests with swords and heavy armor, that know how to fight, that’s what Anduin is. He is a holy paladin, but why ppl still call him a priest?

Forget that he is going to be dk in 9.1, its not out yet

Because human paladins are not just priests with swords and heavy armour? That would be warrior-clerics, entity that exists alongside paladins yet noted to be separate from the paladins. Paladins of the Silver Hand, so human, dwarven and high elven paladins, have more in common with Lightforged Draenei than they do mere priests.

They are cleaned and anointed with blessed oils, empowered by the gathered clergy and paladins to be forever strengthened by the Light itself.

Simply put, we call Anduin a priest because he is a priest.

His generic model substitute for other players doing the same quests as you in the starting maw scenario is labled a paladin.
