she reminds me of Opie (in the Opie and Anthony radio show)
where Opie wasnt much of a funny entertainer, but was an excellent host and manager of the show. People need to recognize their values and be confident in what they are good at.
I like her, and I appreciate that she’s trying hard to get better, and she has. You gotta start from somewhere, and the fact that she’s no longer only hosting but actually trying to do more is really appreciated
You can tell he’s truly passionate and his commentary is “from the heart”. Eiya seems like a nice person and host, but her commentary feels forced and unnatural, not to mention the quality
No one respect anyhting which is RMP in AWC… reason is simple: better do not win…for rest i dont know, i respect all other winners and setups, and majority watcher do the same.
Eiya’s role is being host not a commentator or expert. She is there to lead the whole show and to be charismatic providing entertainment like Rich Campbell did. She is there so Venruki, Ziqo and Supa aren’t only nerding and being serious about the game. That is the main purpose of the host.
I remember her in fall 2021 when she went full berserker mode on her twitch channel. You know what context it was… All of her videos from back then have been taken down and canceled in a way. But every last moment of it was a priceless gem. It was no filter, no b**lsh*t, no ideology , nononsense.
One advice to Eiya though… Please troll the Roge Mage teams, please, they deserve it, you know it’s true.
she is a good host but she has no understanding of competetive or even any higher rated arena and therefore is just a bad commentator.
She doesnt realize whats going on. CC chains, cds anything.
They are not doing her a favour in my opinion
I think shes a good host. Havent minded the times she commentates; I am curious if its her decision or not. I think she keeps the event going along really well.
While I agree stupa is by far the best, both when it comes to game knowledge, and building tension, Ven is still great at his job!
Yes, he talks a lot about mages, but I recalls multiple times when he was suggesting some fun comps, or talents for all specs as a some potential counter. He’s really good at that.
Also, it always blows me away how great game awareness these guys have, looking from spectator POV. Cos the UI is not the best there, and they still notice so many little details.
