Why does Blizzard hate timewalking?

The gear reward isn’t even that high, at most, you get normal ilvl raid gear from timewalk raids.

I don’t see why we can’t use tier sets in that expansion, nor fun stuff like domination gear, or corruption gear from BfA. Those have been disabled for timewalk, but why? It’s not like timewalk is hard to do.

Azerite gear works in timewalk, so does your azerite amulet. Yet corruption gear, domination shards and legiondaries are disabled. Well I found that getting gear specifically for timewalk was fun on its own and I greatly enjoy doing it once in a while. I have a warrior with MoP cloak and WoD ring and I love equipping Shadowmourne, Gurthalak or weapons from MoP with the legendary gems and just go ham at it. Its fun and other players seem to appreciate you also.

But Blizzard? FUN DETECTED FUN DETECTED FUN DETECTED

In legion timewalk of TBC black temple raid I was doing 15% of the dps because I was fully decked out in legendary gear, set and the best trinkets and weapons. People were in awe and I felt like a god. Was so fun.

I have some BiS Azeroth gear, BiS essences, a few legos (including Lego staff from Firelands) and the rest is all socket gear. And I am already completely OP in time walking.

It’s bad enough when I meet another player with similar gear. I couldn’t imagine what it would be like if we were even more buffed.

Because if all legacy special effects are to be enabled, then people would kick players who do not have all that.
Or shall we lie ourselves that it wouldn’t be a case? :stuck_out_tongue:

the timewalk chest should reward heroic gear piece (5 dungeon weekly quest)

all previous sets etc should work in timewalking

corruption doesnt work because if u have too much healer will get blamed because you died. its good it doesnt work, the rest of disabled tier sets and legendaries should work.

Honestly what I want in Timewalking is more ultrarare items like mounts and start on. And, effect from current gear would always be awesome.

Only reason im doing tw is for that mount, I have no interest in the blue gear and the currency drop is so low.

Man if I could disenchant the items to Shadowlands material:/

can they put “Well of Eternity” as cata Timewalking dungeon?

I never timewalked, but I can moonwalk.

This! I do TW for nostalgia/fun/old experience and mount.

I would rather see improvement in items from TW vendors, some stuff there are just not worth buying.

I don’t know about Blizzard but I don’t like TW :rofl: I prefer to avoid it.

The reason for disabling previous tier bonuses is usually because people find ways to utilise them where Blizz had not intended. They don’t want people to feel they have to go back and farm these items. So they just disable all as a blanket policy.
