The very first super secret patch they’ve ever done for retail is only a secret if you’re from NA? Every other region isn’t allowed to get that experience for what reasons exactly? Classic wow can have global release for their patches, but retail can’t?
It’s not just this patch either. The EU forums still don’t have a section for Evokers, they haven’t bothered putting up hero talent feedback threads for any hero talent tree beyond the initial 4 they released back in December. A bunch of other sections like Mac Technical support and various bug report ones don’t exist on EU, but they do on NA. On the community council EU players had to level up new characters on NA to participate, NA players didn’t have to do that.
I don’t believe for that any feedback either from the US or EU forum gets fed back to the developers and if it does any feedback won’t come from the EU because the person who will be collecting this information will be most likely be a yank which is understandable considering its an American company. This person will simply just look at the US forum and most likely doesn’t even know that that there is a EU forum.
The EU forum is just here to make it seem like you can post your feedback and complaints and someone is going to read it but the reality is the only people reading it are other players, blizzard don’t care what any of us think and we are simply cash-cows for them paying the monthly subscription fee.
Another thing is that the servers in the EU are always terrible on expansion launch days but then you go on twitch and see that all of the yank streamers are all playing absolutely fine and they 4 levels in before you can even get past the character selection screen.
Personally I don’t care what this patch is, it’s not been on my radar the only thing I am remotely interested in is the next expansion alpha and this isn’t because I want to play it and provide feedback that won’t be seen by anyone but because I want to learn the most efficient way of getting to max level and start gearing up for the next set of dungeons which I hope don’t contain RP.
This next patch is supposed to be something that’s never been seen before and its been hyped up but the truth is it will be a massive disappointment because the most likely thing is you will end up doing a couple of quests and then the big feature of the patch will be that you can queue up for some silly event or boss fight which will most likely include people from the classic servers.
So for a limited time you will be able to play with people from older expansions and collect some horrible pirate tmog and maybe a parrot pet and a recolour of the freehold mount. Sounds like such a wonderful event and totally worth all of the time that’s been dedicated to it which has meant that PVE class balancing has been neglected for pretty much the entire season.
I’ve started a crowdfunding campaign to buy Blizzard off of Microsoft, just Blizz mind, I don’t want any FPS shooty games from Activision. Click here to donate.
Once bought we can make World of Warcraft just Europe of Warcraft and cut those crafty Yanks out. Or at least give them patches 3 months later if they promise to behave.
When we shiver, our bodies are doing the opposite of sweating. Sweating cools the body by putting a layer of liquid on the skin. Shivering tightens the skin and shakes the muscles, a process that conserves and generates heat.
That’s because you can’t post on the forums without a level 10 character … on an EU server if you want to post in the EU forums and a US server if you want to post in a US forum. The Council forum was on the US forums as thats where the devs and others work.
Yes we should have had a global release and yes I’m disappointed, but it didn’t happen for some reason so we’ll have to put up with it and avoid social media until tomorrow.
