Shouldn’t you be asking for his gold?
Classic is bustling and retail is emptying out, I think that says enough. The zones are completely full now that TBC is on the way. I just met someone in world chat who remembered me from being in a world pvp youtube video a year ago, we chatted and reminisced about the good ol’ days when Classic first launched. Classic isn’t going anywhere, it’s time to accept it.
I keep saying this but I’ll say it again, different people like different things.
For me Classic was incredibly dull, slow, boring, grindy, tedious, even the combat was dreadful (autoattacking is not fun). So I don’t really spend much time in Classic. I endure it when friends want to play. I require more addons in Classic than I do in Retail just to try and make it bearable. But that is me, I don’t expect anyone else to feel that way.
Some people like Classic, that’s great! Some people like Retail, that’s also great. Some people like both and that’s fab. It’s all world of warcraft.
What I don’t understand is people trolling the relative forums to rave that their version is better or they hate the version of the one they are in the forum for. That is just not needed.
You can keep saying w/e you want. If majority of WoW palyebase is playing classic than moder version cant justifi its desing becouse making more expensive game for smaller audience simply doesnt make any sense.
I’m not trying to convince anyone, I’m just sharing my opinion and maybe Blizzard will take the hint and apply some Classic inspiration to retail.
There is no basis of fact to that claim.
Same reason i stopped playing after 6 months i felt like enough is enough i have not time nor patience anymore for such endeavors.
We see that regularly from people who like Classic but don’t like Retail. I’m the opposite. I like Retail and I want all Classic elements to stay as far away as possible from Retail.
There is way more evidence of retail lossing tons of players than evidence that its not. And as long as you wont have strong evidence that moder wow is in healthy state with players not quiting my stateme is more trutfull than yours.
Gj you are minority.
More self proclaimed facts that have no basis.
I do not think so a lot of my friends who gave up in Cata came back there was a lot and i mean a lot of vets in the game on classic re launch .
No because the “meta” (hate that word) has come over from retail . warrior 2 mage 1 lock and 1 priest for 5mans and the boost spam is all over the place now .
I hope so as TBC has very fond memories for me .
What she said very self proclaimed facts that have no basis whatsoever.
Yes they have basis on players experience what play this game. Its you who have no facts to defend that this statement is not lie.
Yet more rubbish it is your view only and you never back up with facts so stop trying to tell people how and what to play .
Go ahead, make my day.
So I’ll be more specific about things they should change in retail because some ppl still don’t get it.
-remove pve/pvp toggle, back to pure servers
-remove sharding
-remove queue for instanced pve content, go back to meeting people and traveling to the dungeon to help foster realm community
-remove all cross server content, go back to server-based world (more immersive, better community). basically stop allowing players from different servers to play together, each server is its own universe.
-remove flying
I’m gonna wait for Shadowlands classic phase 1
Yeah that one was meant more of as a people who didn’t come from private servers which I felt confident proclaiming was a small minority. Then again maybe people remember more than me from playing vanilla and I’m still wrong.
Just like you dont back up your facts that this is not case. We both dont have data so we both have to create our statements around player experience. Saying that you are right and i am wrong when you too dont have any data to support your argument is kinda stupid.
