Serious question. Since it does it not break on damage, it is effectively a stun.
There should be one singular DR for all effects that disable control of your character and still allow an arbitrary amount of damage to go through without breaking the CC.

Because it’s a horrify, which is just an uncapped fear and on a different DR school. Unfortunately I think your wish for merged DRs won’t be happening any time in the near future, if ever.

Why you’d pick Mortal Coil of all things is beyond me.
he is right, mortal coil is op - cc and heal in one click. useful to setup big dmg or further cc, absolutely bonkers
