Why does every Ulduar Timewalk run is a skip run? I have never seen anyone doing a full run during TW Week even though they get easy Hero Gear from it.
They want the quest done or just mount chance?

Because most of the teams fall apart at the first boss, because not doing the towers nor interrupt the venting of the boss and the choppers burn the whole raid alive

The quest really, mount can only be awarded for a “no lights” kill (that is no help from the keepers AKA hard mode), and most pugs might not manage that.
It is a long raid with bosses dropping 493 gear that a lot of people don’t need by now, and as Kentarro mentioned first boss can be a pug killer.

Because PUGs are awful with the vehicles boss. 
to be fair - leviathan is the hardest boss in tw ulduar

Leviathan suffers from most TW bosses. Far too many people seem to think they can faceroll it and act all surprised when the game says “oh… hohohoho… we’re gonna make you cry…”
Veterans of WotLK like me will only too well remember the nightmare that was an attempt to “Hardcore” Leviathan. Normal Leviathan was no pushover either.
Then you got to XT and his light bombs and careless DPS who went full pew pew on the exposed heart despite explicit instructions to stop at 50%
I still have PTSD nightmares from doing that boss on hard…
Reason why I didn’t even do Ulduar when it was current content. Vehicle bosses are plain stupid. I want to play my character, not some silly machine. After seeing the first part of the raid I decided to never do that again (yes, I know the other bosses are played “normally”, but the first boss ruined the whole raid for me).
People end up killing the entire groups with the Salvaged Chopper by spamming tar. It instantly makes people leave.
Anyway we’re organizing an Ulduar forum run tomorrow if you’re interested.
