Why does honor cap exist?

To prevent people to be almost mythic raid ilvl geared in week 1 or 2. Raids have a lockout. M+ has a valor cap.

Wait you said honor. No idea. I do not pvp so i do not know what honor is. Sorry. Ignore me on this monday morning without yet my first coffee.

It’s basically what you upgrade the pvp gear with after you have obtained the pvp gear.

It prevents people from holding onto a colossal amount of honor points. Whenever a new season comes out, every player is expected to farm honor points to be able to buy the new season honor gear or run dungeons for the PvE gear as an alternative. Without a honor point cap, some people could and most likely would stack on honor points for multiple seasons. They would have enough honor to buy all the honor pieces they need, right at the beginning of each season, which is considered an unfair advantage that would last for multiple seasons because honor point does not get reset every season, unlike some other currencies such as Conquest point and Valor points which get reset every season.

Or they could just reset it before each season like valor and conquests.

Just wish you could spend it on something once you got all the gear and upgrades.
Convert it to valor or send it to alts would be kewl

Just reset Honor each season

Honor cap is so bad, at last the could 2x it

2 not waiste my honor i buy marks and with that mark clider and sell them o the AH for pennys

remove honor cap and make honor account wide and add daily honor back again

Why do I ask? Because I have been capped on honor since the start of Season 4. I really want them to at least remove the cap when the season ends. I mean its the end of exp. Let us have some fun.

yeap we need it uncaped if there is world pvp event start of DF the first 2 weeks like Holinka sed in interjuve …
