its bizarre to me that its still not a thing, I don’t think any other paladin able race doesn’t have a racial mount for the paladins divine steed? “course humans would have the normal horse”.
Blood elf was the first horde race to get paladin back in burning crusade but Draenei the alliance burning crusade race does have a racial mount for DS…

Presumably because they were added before racial paladin mounts became a thing. It makes sense that draenei eventually got one seeing as refridgerators riding horses just looks incredibly off, a problem the blood elves don’t have.
Speaking only for myself… no. Though I wouldn’t mind if they added one.
I think all races should have their own divine steed, just like druids have different forms based on race, and shamans totems, and hunters starting pets. Cosmetic uniqueness in class/race combos is cool and should be expanded upon across all classes.

Well they do have a racial mount, the thalassian charger. Is it a good/fitting one? Maybe not, but it is their racial mount nonetheless.
I really like the belf charger though. You can have the divine chicken and the red charger gets shared around. Ok with me.

Seems like it’s more of a unicorn, but both options seem a bit off since unicorns seem to be more of a High elven thing, but on the other hand I feel like Blizzard has kind of forgotten about the Hawkstriders since you see many Blood elves around but none of these mounts.
Maybe the model didn’t aged well, as well as the animations. Oddly it’s pretty obvious the animation for lots of mounts are better adapted to +60% speed rather than +100%.
I would love a rework on their models and animations if they stick to the original design as they have done with many creatures already, that way we could see glorious Hawkstriders for Blood elf Blood Knights and Paladins. Unless they stick with the horse/unicorn.
Whatever it is I just want to see renewed graphics and respect for the lore we grew up with.
No hawkstriders are awful. Tho if you leave the thalssian charger alone go for it

Thalassian charger is the canonical blood knight mount and it is unique in its armouring long before racial charger mounts, lorewise I very much enjoy this mount.
When I see roleplaying blood knights they tend to default to the bronze courser as an ‘modern appearance’ stand in for the blood knight charger and few use a hawkstrider equivalent
as said by others though I would love a hawkstrider equivalent that does not replace the original charger
