Why dont GUIDES i see online Spec into Ice strike & Hailstorm?

I think you are talking about pve.
The dmg isnt that high in pve If i remember right. But in PvP its pretty nice

The main reason is that they are both filler talents that do not offer much to any of the 2 hero talent specs.

It is not that they CANNOT be played, just that you do not have enough gaps into your rotation that you need to fill.

  • Stormbringer cares only about generating and spending MSW, ice strike and hailstorm are just fillers that do not help with that. They just offer extra filler damage when we already have no gaps in the rotation.
  • Same things with totemist. We care about weaving in the hot hands lava lashes and other combos. Ice strike/Hailstorm do nothing for the talent tree but offer some low prio filler.

To play devils adocate, hailstorm does synergise with Lively Totems, but Hailstorm damage isn’t it.
