Here’s a list of the characters I currently play as healers:

I don’t play high end content.
I prefer the casual LFD and LFR.

Cheers.

this is the deal breaker for me.
I do not like seeing people blaming others to feel better about themselves

And how could this even happen exactly? The dungeon areas we use for fighting consist of relatively small corridors of completely flat space. It is impossible to LoS or outrange anyone there by design.

There is absolutely no advantage to healing from maximum range while standing next to a pillar in PvE. Whereas this style is essential in PvP.

If you stand in the middle of a flat space in arena, you will be CCd until you lose. Something that will never happen to you in M+ where you can freecast the whole run.

There are many differences like this that make PvP and PvE completely different games.

And I’m not here to say that PvE is braindead, especially at very high ratings. However, I do find PvP more diffcult than PvE. Healing M+ is quite relaxing in comparison to healing even just Blitz, let alone Arena.

Yes, that IS nice

I think you should try healer yourself, and then pug M+ below 10’s for a while. Then come back later and say that again

More stressful than rewarding tbf

If you refer to whack-a-mole on steorids, then sure

Yeah, that’s the best of it all

People positioning too far away on bosses like the raging tempest so you can’t reach them, as an example. Moonkins & mm hunters were especially egregious due to their increased range.

Likewise on the last boss in burial grounds. They just go to the other end of the room instead of staying on your side.

I had one guy manage to die by lining me in throne of tides on 3rd boss when he got the debuff, I couldn’t dispel him due to it.

But this is rare compared to the amount of times DPS die to it in PvP.

Indeed. There are more opportunities to die in PvP because nobody is tanking for you. And it’s not just about dodging swirlies.

Because I got married and I prefer my wife being the healer of our group.

If blamed my self to prevent fighting among the group, but it does not work, people just want the group to disband no matter what, and as soon first person leave they have no excuse to do so as well.

What would be ironic about it for you to specify that its unironic like as if that was a real world?

I’ve never liked how healing feels in WoW. I’ve tried it a few times and the only thing I’ve liked is when I don’t have to click around all the time.

Therefore, the healer that appealed to me most was Preservation, but honestly not even that…

Cause I love killing. Killing is fun . Taking the life of something is sooo exhilarating especially at PvP. It’s this anticipation of seeing enemy health bars reaching 0

Now that you mention it, it does feel like healers are more well-adjusted individuals.

Maybe! It’s just me I express this opinion. I’m not a representative of DPS players by any means

It was also healers that were “always” also explaining mechanics and knew the dungeon while the rest join there more or less with the mindset of “me want hit things”

This is a problem with M+ more than elsewhere because it has a toxic design

Nah.

It’s because people are AFK in the brain.

I just had a game where a hunter chased frost mage into the starting room and got walled off and he died without using any defensives at all. He didn’t try to CC the mage either nor interrupt.

Next round I got breathed from invis and the mage started casting poly, the hunter(2.2k cr) was just standing there in camo right next to me, opened up on the mage and watched me get poly’d 3 times without interrupting the polys.

Then the spriest was headed for me as the 3rd poly was ending and feared me. Like, bro? Slow him? Stun him? The warrior just watches as the priest comes running to me, he has charge, stormbolt, he can stun the priest, he can slow the priest, he can fear and hit both the priest and the holy paladin. The hunter can also stop him. Neither try to stop him. So I get feared. The holy paladin comes running at me in fear. Does anyone stop him? Nope, he hammer of justices me. I trinket it and swap hunter because he’s about to die and then 2 seconds after the swap he turtles. A few seconds passes and the paladin starts spamming repentance, I sw:d. What happens then? He interrupts the repentance. Great. Then mage casts poly, I fade it. Paladin casts repentance again, I go out of line. Mage blinks to me and breaths me, warrior & hunter is still on him and he poly me without them stopping it and then the hunter dies.

The hunter interrupted a total of 3 times during the shuffle, which took like 15 minutes. Not once did he turtle like he should, it was always too late and would have resulted in him dying but instead he uses it at full hp, after me or the holy paladin saved him from dying right there.

He goes 0-6. I go 3-3 and lose mmr.

I also had a ret paladin where he procced guardian spirit in the opener, I had to swap him because he doesn’t press defensives. He uses lay on hands on himself and then dies without using divine shield. Goes on to say that he had forebearance when I ask why he doesn’t shield. I check his talents. He’s specced into the talent that makes him able to use divine shield with forebearance.

These people exist out there in society as well. They’re the people that stand in the store blocking the aisle with their shopping cart. They’re the people that crash into cars in front of them because they “didn’t see they were braking” or some other bad excuse. They are the people that will torch their home because they don’t remember they had the stove turned on.
