Yes, because in FF14 almost all the damage taken is due to failing mechanics. The game even has a scaling punishment system that makes someone take more damage the more often they fail.
In WoW there is a lot of unavoidable damage in the mix.
Edit: in FF14 you also have an infinite number of combat resurrection, with Limit Break 3, a single surviving healer can fully revive the entire raid in an instand
They do it to play dps, but cause dps ques are long they play healer while waiting. Shouldnt need to be explained why they wish to play the game while waiting
Healers get less than dps from shuffles. Dps / healer mmr is separated for shuffles (not the case for arenas) there are less healers so their mmr is more deflated, they also only go against other healer and in a draw (3-3) the other will lose rating if the other had more mmr. The 6 round design of shuffle makes healers go 3-3 more than it makes dps because there is bad 0-6 dps often in the game which only makes dps gain 4-2 wins and both healers wasted their time for draw.
Dps having more inflated mmr and going positive more often than healers means they gain more rating from shuffles than healers. Even overtuned dps spec benefit outcome in shuffles more than playing “flavour of the month healer as healer” you can play “op healer” and heal bad dps for 5min and they will still not manage do anything if they are bad enough. Op dps will just do overtuned dmg and kill something.
My post said it perfectly clear that they should incentive healers to gain rating equally like dps or there is no reason for people to play healer for shuffles, this is competitive mode for rating, why would somebody do more work on a role which the system rewards less, if they can play dps and get rewarded more for doing less demanding task.
Heres suggestion for soloq like it is in other games and like people asked soloq for +8 years but blizz did something else and add shuffle which design they left bad for healers so we have long dps ques and no healers.
But 3.4 k is pretty low, I am bad and never played video games before covid, and got on Hpriest that is way worse than any other healer before turboboost almost 3.2. Try getting a title or something. Then, fot dps it is even easier than for a d tier healer for sure, you can just be plain very bad and get tha
I also tried my evoker for a bit in solo shuffle and had 50/50 wr without playing pvp prior, so if I would put some time in it, I would get somewhere easily probably too (most knowledge used from pve) It was unfun to play though, I find pvp in other games designed better
And there is a huge difference between 3,2 and 3,4
You can be a bad healer and push high too.
The question is how long is someone willing to sit in queues instead of playing the game at this key range.
You are 36% win rate 26:46 rounds below 1,4k
This is basically like wiping in a follower dungeon
PvP and its difficulty starts later.
Ye PvP is unfun when you don’t know what you are doing. It becomes fun when you predict every move and can counter your teammate’s fails and punish the enemy’s fails.
WoW PvP is like chess.
Not really, especially if you compare hpriest and mm hunter or even mw monk and highest keys done after turbo boost, I stopped playing many weeks ago(in may). So yeah, your 3.4k does not mean you are good or achieved something expectional in the game
yeah but I was talking about my first trying not this season, and kinda not my fault that my teammates in SS were bad And my gear was bad as well
But slap face talks about DF3 ksm, its pretty similar, or even lower
I brought the expansion at the end of the season and I joined shuffle in full green gear.
Still destroyed everyone with a positive winrate at 2100 MMR, without enchants, gems and tier set.
I still don’t have a tier set actually. I ended the season without it.
You played pvp all your life, I tried it in TWW(for more than 10 games…), so good bait again
and as I said I am a bad player (but still did not lose 6-0 all the time on my pres evoker) If it would be that hard, I would not be able to get almost full set of tmog on the spec I just tried in pvp (also used pve talents)
I uninstalled game in may, and yet don’t want to download it again. Will see how people on forum write their opinion on the current patch and see… Im chilling in gw2 pvp and liking it there
What’s the point? They have nothing to do with you.
I never said it is. I said there is a huge difference between your 3,15 and 3,4k
The point is that he needed let’s say 1 month. You would need like 4 months. Are you both being able to achieve that? Sure but you will need multiple times longer. That’s the thing.
what’s the point? One spec is extremely bad in m+, and hpriest was my main s2
sure
Who said that? i dont see him getting anything in one month, you don’t know who is better and as I said I am bad player, so maybe your friend is also
My priest is still like 1.1 k world(was at 300 when I quit), your friend is 3k wolrd if we look at spec ranking
I asked you what’s your point comparing any high key player to you or my friend?
Just because someone else did X does not mean you can do the same.
I used that just as a reference.
When I went on vacation he pushed from around 13s and 14s to all 16s in time.
Well I am sure my friend is better. He is not the fastest but he has me who helps him out and this reflects in his performance. A bit of help, a bit of time, a bit of practice and he hits high logs and plays mechanics properly.
I agree and your data suggests that too, which is why I said there is a difference between 3,2k and 3,4k. You would require very good groups in order to be able to heal 16s. With the performance you had in 13s and 14s, it would be simply not enough in 16s. That means you would need much more time to get the same results as him.
This does not mean anything at all anyway. You have way less competition on a less popular class than someone on a popular class. Mathematically speaking his spec ranking is 20% better than yours.
Still kinda irrelevant tho, what’s more interesting is individual performance and his performance improved and improves over time. Yours on the other hand not really
I healed 14s before hpriest buffs and before the turbo boost, so I don’t think you know what you talking about, maybe it makes you a bad player x
Good player is my husband and I don’t see you or your friend even close (19s on tank 10 weeks ago at time 95%+ parse in dps)
If you are good then my hubby is god lol. And it doesn’t work this way. He is just good player
I wouldnt call it like that even, his played mostly 1-2 season there and there in expansions since legion and seems he almost skipped entire shadowlands for some reason even though arena was best there, DF he played cause shuffle I guess and tww he skipped season 1 but now played 1 character in season 2 so. The average in eu is people with 5-15 characters they play each season of every expansion on comparison and I’m not even exaggerating, he is something below those averages actually.
