I am newbie and non-experience in arena games. But still I wanted to ask this.
If I understand it right this is a meta that healers struggle. Also the debuff that reduces healing also gets quite high very fast.
Why then holy priests with the greater heal is not meta. That spell ignores all heal reduction debuffs and tops you up to 65%. The cd is relatively low only at 12 secs.
Can you enlighten me?

true but still in a 3vs3 setting the team would help you cast this.
too long cast time. in those 3 seconds you cast it most meta comps can legit kill your partner already from like 70-80% to zero, and also if you are relying on it for healing then all people have to do is use their CC as interrupts on it and you fall behind and someone dies.
if it’s ever useful it’s in 2v2 with high health classes like dk/lock where you actually can get the casts off.
But with haste cant we take it down to 2.2 seconds like in BFA? For example at that time I was playing with destro lock so they had to interrupt either me or the lock causing a lot of pressure to the enemy team
you can take it down a bit with some haste yeh, but you want a bit of mastery anyway so not worth going FULL haste.
either way I will say that yes it is an option for a wizard comp like that. if you played MLP it could potentially work, but it’s mostly a 2v2 option because in 3v3 the burst is so much higher that you cant be casting greater heals when your guy is 1 interrupt away from getting blasted.
Getting that cast off with the infinite amount of CC at the moment makes it very hard to pull off, plus it has a CD, which it didn’t used to have.
thank god hpriest is not meta get that boosted ape spec out of here , they get to get boosted in shadowlands with rmp and now they need to cast and are crying all over the place boohoo
what makes the spec ape-spec according to you?

everything that i dont play is an ape spec in this forum.
bonus points if you play dh, fury or bm hunter.
you get a throphy for mongoing ret warri, turbo, dk warri or other mongo cleaves as well.
and if you are not at least 3k on this you are a noob and if you are 3k you are a boosted ape by playing braindead afk autopilot specs.
very good input. I hope blizzard can buff bit holy, right now is low tier I think. I plan to play holy though
