KSM isn’t good though. It just requires you to have some knowledge of your own class and the dungeons you’re doing.
And if you’re pugging, the patience to actually do it.

I do not recall you saying you never kicked anybody for not wanting to skip. You said you go with the flow, which I understood as you kick people or you don’t based on the decision of the 2-3 other people. If you didn’t then I judged you too harshly and I’m sorry for that. I still see the need of combating the support for such actions though. Mostly because if you are passive, that means you might be enforcing will of 2 people using the will of 2 indifferent people who go with the flow to punish one person. It’s a problem known in lfg raids where you can just kick somebody by starting a vote.
Could you take your battle elsewhere with Puny please or go make your own thread.

Not sure, he doesn’t post much on forums anyway, his community is still thriving and they have lots of people there that they help.

No I don’t kick if people initiate a vote kick because of skipping. I need a more solid reason for a kick to go through, like a toxic individual insulting everyone, or someone afking with no explanation for a long time. We usually give people who d/c a reasonable time to reconnect too.
So I think we’ve had little bit of a misunderstanding. Go with the flow is literally when I say at the start, are we skipping or killing.

Sadly they are Hordies, they have Alliance discord too but it’s not doing that well.

He is a bit of an odd person, great intentions with his community, then executes it as aggressively as a booster (gets himself into trouble for his advertising). Then behaves really elistist on the forums complaining about people in M plus etc, attacks/insults others, compared himself to top 1% players etc.
It’s like two different people/intentions.
I know several players who have helped out with his community.

OK so tell me what you think about a mentor system I mentioned or you started this topic to just gather complaints? We are discussing a community issue which is the root of some of those problems you mention. A hostile environment makes people buy boosts. Idk if i mentioned it, but I did boosts for people who were good enough to do their own 15’s but just couldn’t handle the environment. I understand them, I had a guy rage quit on me on xy-exia or what’s her name in the other side after 2 wipes from bombs if i recall, calling people names on the second day after m0 released this expansion because “i should have played on ptr”. In the raid on the day of release I had people raging in heroic for not doing the houndmaster mechanics properly - healing the souls. I got kicked as a tank from a pug because i couldn’t tank the boss with souls going into him and we were all dying. Nobody knew what was going wrong but anger levels were high.
I found it easier to get a group in Retail than Classic. Meta gaming is so much worse there. It actually made me come back to Retail in the end.

I did 15s legit back in legion , i raided legit all the way back in mop got my curves legit in mop , wod and legion.
But now because of work , family , family’s commitment i don’t have the time like i used too.
I don’t think I’m a bad player , I’ve done it before in the past I’m sure I could do it again if I had the available time. Doing 2-4 keys max per week is all i can afford really , i want to play on alts , i want to lvl up allied races for the heritage armours.
So I’m left with no option to boost to play content. In legion just doing your highest key was sufficient. Now you need to time them all on different lvls , different affixes … clear the raid . Otherwise it’s just decline . declined , decline , declined.
Not sure how much weight to attribute to anecdotal evidence. Umm…
I’ll refer to PuGing in Legion with World Tours as a different example then, if that gets the point across easier.
Naxxramas in WotLK was great as well. Really low barrier to entry and something that bred a strong sense of shared community. Everyone could kind of play with each other without much scrutiny (a little dancing, but otherwise…).
To me it always feels wrong if a player that can do it is paying to do it. I understand that in general you are simply paying for other people’s time and gear, but it still feels like this is not how the experience should be. The communities to me lack the incentive to actually help people like you except for goodwill. There are so many people tho, and so many come with alts I don’t think the idea is the ideal solution. Sounds like most of your problems simply stem from having too many checkboxes to fill.
